Lakes RV & Golf Resort - RV park in Chowchilla - 5001 E Robertson Blvd, USA

(Stay began 21SEP23) We wound up here because the other RV park in town lost our reservation, and after seeing that park we opted for The Lakes. It was just what you would expect from a 'resort', except the rules were not strictly enforced. Everything was neat and tidy. The landscape crew started too early in the morning, but you can't have everything now, can you? The highlight was spending some time with Azul, the disabled but very friendly office cat.

On a recent long trip thru California, We made a one nite reservation over the phone with The Lakes RV resort. When we arrived after hours, the paperwork & remote (for the security gate) were waiting for us at the office, along with our spot# which was a perfect pull thru site for our Airstream! Very nice well maintained, clean RV park. Most sites appeared to be 100% level. Overall Rating ~ Very Good

Extremely clean and well maintained. Next door to golf course to which you receive 2 rounds per day at check in. Very secure as pass keys are needed everywhere!! Washrooms and laundry were excellent. The dog park was tiny!! Some people had not cleaned up after their pet so it was also dirty!! That was the only downside though.

Gated park with keyless entry. Pool and golfing. Quiet, clean and pet friendly. We only stayed one night and did not get to use the free golf....next time!

This is a very nice RV park but not as nice as it was a few years ago. The staff is not the friendliest and seem indifferent about any concerns. Many of the campsites are privately owned and apparently aren’t available to rent. We were told that there were no lakeside spots available but during our one week stay there were many lakeside spots that never had anyone in them. That being said this is still the best RV park in the area and well worth a visit.

This RV park was a gem of a find while passing through on Hwy 99. Beautiful gated RV park and two rounds of golf per day are included with your stay. Great value and wish we could have stayed a couple days and golfed. The only negative that was out of the control of the park management was a lot of noise from the homes bordering the RV park...roosters crowing in early morning and lots of dogs barking. Surprised since the housing development bordering the park appears to be pretty nice and surprised their HOA allows that to go on. That being said it definitely wouldn't prevent us from staying here again.

This is our 3rd visit, checking in is always a breeze and staff are very friendly and helpful. Sites are ok, concrete pads, wifi, and cable tv, for golfers you get free golf at the course next door so really great value. The park is starting to look a little shabby grounds wise, weeds and no grass (would be better if they xeriscaped with rocks or sand) not as fresh looking on the outside of the building.

We spent 4 nights here. It's beautiful. The sites are separated by hedges for privacy. They are level and wide. The landscaping is gorgeous. It's very quiet.
