This is an amazing antique shop with a large variety of vintage and collectible items. One of the big attractions is the number of authentic Disney World resort props, ride-used, furniture, costumes, banners, posters, signs, memorabilia, and other items that are for sale. There is also a collection of theme park and event-used items from Universal Studios, including a large collection of Halloween Horror Nights props. We spent over three hours and didn't get to see everything. Definitely will come back next time we're in the FLA.
I really would like to give this place 5 starts because it is fun to walk around and spend a few hours looking at everything there is to offer. This place is huge! And if you like Disney, this is the antique mall for you. However, while you can find treasures, there are a lot of booths that just feel like overpriced yard sale junk. I don’t want to go to an antique mall and find Squishmallows or Hot Wheels I can go buy across the street at Target for much cheaper. I want genuine, unique antiques, and this place truly doesn’t offer a lot of that. Another thing about this place that bothers me is the stickers they use for prices. I’ve bought quite a few things, mainly records, that have instantly been ruined when you take the sticker off. It’s a bummer to buy a record and then have it immediately destroyed over some cheap sticker that could have been avoided. I’m also not a fan of the customer service here. There always seems to be 5-7 people just hanging out at the check out counter, and you are always made to feel like you are interrupting a conversation. Some of the employees are nice, but most of the time you’re just made to feel like it’s an inconvenience that you’re checking out. God forbid we give you our money I guess.
Very cool place if you have a lot of time to kill. Pretty pricey items, come prepared to spend some $$. It’s a giant store filled with rows and rows of antiques, a good majority being Disney related. Things are pretty organized in terms of being grouped in the same section as other like items. It’s a bit overwhelming, however. Area looks a bit run down as well but cool environment overall!
The Lakeland Antique Mall is HUGE!!! It's the size of a Super Walmart. Wow! They have so many vendors. It was hard to leave with just a cart-full of awesome and unique antiques and collectibles. We love this store!!! They offer a huge variety of Disney collectibles. They offer vintage and antique collectibles for any insterest. There are large items as well as tiny items and everything in between. We walked the aisles for more than two hours without going down the same aisle twice. Overall, we are very impressed with the selection and variety of items they offer here.
First visit here. We went on a Saturday, it was busy but not overwhelming. So much to see it's like sensory overload . It seemed to be organized well. I believe there were personal booths and then just random items. I found an old wonder pony from the 1950's. I'm going to clean it up. Was 22 dollars. Perfect condition and original hardware. You could spend hours here . Lots of history behind some items . There is merchandise for everyone from Disney to coke collections to native American goods and old cooking products. Fun to browse through. I definitely would recommend and would visit again. Prices on certain items seemed high but in saying that I have no clue what certain items are actually worth. The pony grabbed my heartstrings so it belongs to our family now. Update , we visited again in October and found a ferris wheel and some other random items , even a couple Christmas gifts . Worth checking out .
Pretty cool place. I enjoyed walking around and looking at all the unique collectibles, props, and theme park merch. Definitely be careful when purchasing Disney pins. I saw a lot of counterfeits in various booths. Also, the pricing stickers are a bit annoying because it leaves sticky residue and doesn't come off easily.
If you're in the market for Antiques, look no further this place is huge. You can spend hours walking around this place. Highly recommend.
Some vendors sell really cheap disney stuff, other ones sell expensive than Disney shop, I found dollar tree and five below items for 10 until 20 dollars 😅 but also I found a lot of Disney collection at the end of the warehouse at a real good price, you will need all day long if you pretend see everithing , the personal are friendly and they have a lot of thing to see.
