Lakefront Terrace Resort - Hotel in Lake George - 2998 Lake Shore Dr, USA

Nous avons dû réserver pour une autre chambre dans un autre hôtel. En effet, nous sommes arrivés pour check-in et un autre couple demandait à avoir remboursement parce qu’il y avait présence de moisissures, insectes et odeurs dans leur chambre. Nous avons nous mêmes constatés la même chose dans notre chambre. Plusieurs insectes (morts ou vivants), une très forte odeur d’humidité et la présence de beaucoup de moisissures dans la salle de bain. Le bord du bain était noir, de même que le dessous du couvert de toilette. Nous avons été très déçu, surtout considérant que le prix est quand même élevé pour la basse qualité de la chambre. Service médiocre également, ils ont eu de la difficulté à trouver notre réservation, bien que l’on ait réserver plusieurs semaines avant. Nous n’avons eu aucun remboursement.

So, let me say first, I believe they are getting ready to do some refurbishing of existing rooms, so this may change. The bathroom was borderline scary. The toilet leaked, and we'd quickly run out of hot water in the shower (which seems weird for a hotel, but we were there off-season, and they may have been at 15% capacity). Also, we never complained or asked to be moved since we were only there a few nights, so they very well could have tried to help. The biggest plus is the location. Amazing view of the lake, and it's pretty easy to get anywhere you need to be.

This is the 2nd time in 3 years that me and the wife made the trip. Once again we were satisfied. We were able to check in early. Swim in the heated pool. We also learned that the poolside snack bar does breakfast, lunch and serves liquor. Chris W runs this bar and is super friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding activities and places of interest. P.S we also swam in the lake. Definitely going back next year when the season starts a week before Memorial Day.

What a delight! My family and I were in town for a few days, and wow this place was perfect! The staff were amazing from accommodating our requests to helping us find the best places in the village to eat and play! The renovations are coming along nicely, you can tell the owners have made great progress on the property and we look forward to seeing more with our next visit. The snack bar was closed the one day for weather but who would want to be out in a gnarly thunderstorm!

Every hotel in the area is pretty much the same unless you're staying at a high end name or resort. Locations are small, pool is small, beach area is small, and parking is on a diagnol. Really not too big of deals. The lake is beautiful and we had the top floor room at the end. Best view in the whole place. The pool is small, but the bar area with food is great. Nice to have that option. Great breakfast sandwiches. My biggest issue was the insane amount of spiders hanging from the walk way. Why no one from maintenance would clean these things is beyond me! I had to run and duck the whole way to my room door and rush to get inside for fear one of the spiders would fall on me. Another issue, and this isn't really fixable. But every day, the sewer truck was blocking my car in. I understand the purpose. Gotta clean put the waste, but the times were always wrong. We were almost late to our rail trail because of it! Can't beat the view we had. It's a decent place. Just clean up the 🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷.

My husband and I LOVE Lake George, so we decided to stay at Lakefront Terrace soley on it's ad. I had paid for one night, my husband wanted to go early, and paid for the first night. My credit card charged me for TWO extra nights. I called, and they said the money would be refunded. They refunded ONE night. My credit card company entered the dispute when they refused to pick up my calls. The credit card company refunded the charge after having tried, in vain, to end the dispute with Lakefront. Shame on them!

Great experience, well priced and situated. The pool and canteen were fantastic. Kids also loved the beach. Rooms were exactly what you'd expect, a bit average, some dating, but overall comfortable. The park, multiple terraces and other guests where what made this place a fun stay during our mini vacation. Would come back for sure.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Lake George and Lakefront Terrace is my favorite. The rooms are decent size. They have a great pool with a bar that serves food. And they have a small, but nice beach area with lounge chairs by the lake. You can rent paddle boards and kayaks from them.
