This place is absolutely beautiful! It’s sprawling old oak trees that canopy the sidewalks along with the large blue lake that is the centerpiece of the park. You don’t just have to walk or ride your bike you can also park your vehicle under one of the large oak trees, roll down your window, and feel the breeze while you admire the view. There are plenty of benches spread around the lake and picnic tables to enjoy a meal or shoot some hoops, there is a basketball court to enjoy that as well. However, there is only one restroom on the far side of the lake. It could use more restrooms scattered throughout the park.

Great place to teach the kids how to fish. We spent Father's day at the gazebo and made so many new memories! We love the revamp that has been done as well. Absolutely beautiful

I love lake Wales park. There are plentiful park benches and a nicely paved sidewalk that goes almost all the way around the lake . You can take a side street to connect to the part that doesn't too. They have out in nice exercise spots and a boat ramp for fishing. Also the gazebo is a very photogenic area with a beautiful view of historic lake Wales. It's quite a walk all the way around. No there aren't any Gators so don't worry. Lake Wales is a hidden little gem that still maintains it small town feel.

We were there for a BBQ festival which was very nice. Well priced the food was good and the entertainment was great. They have a nice walking path around the lake with beautiful views. I really enjoyed my visit.
Lake Wales Lake is a beautiful lake!! The city keeps it clean & there is a side walk that goes all the way around! Great for walking, jogging or dog walking!! The dock is just perfect for throwing out a line or 2!!
