Lake Vanare Cabins - Motel in Lake Luzerne - 1331 Lake Ave, USA

Lake Vanare Cabins is such a great family vacation spot. The owners are wonderful. Cabins super clean and come with everything you’d need and if you don’t have something , just ask the owner! The beach is great, along with the big pavilion full of seating and activities. There is a nice dock with canoes and rowboats. The cabins are also a short drive away from lake George so if it rains or you want to do something different, it’s easy to jump in the car and get into town. Last year was our first year staying here after years if searching for something just like this! We will be there next month and we are all looking forward to it!

Best place we have ever stayed. Just few minutes away to Lake George from this place. And there are lots of water activities in the area. Bob and his family is so warm and welcoming. They are wonderful hosts. They will make you feel comfortable. Cabins are so cozy. Clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful lake with lots of fishes and turtles, you can boat and fish. There’s also a small beach, tennis court and ping pong table. Lake Vanare Cabins is the best place to stay if you want a peaceful stay closer to nature. Loved every moment of the stay. Will definitely comeback next summer.

This August was my 2nd trip to Lake Vanare Cabins. The host Bob has always been kind and accommodating when it came to making and switching reservations. He's been a pleasure to deal with! (Shout to Marlow the dog, he's a pleasure to deal with also) ||||The cabin is nice, but it is rustic woods style. The first year it was a bit of a shock for me coming from hotels I usually stay in. It grew on me fast. The cabin was clean, there were no bugs that we saw so that was great. Lack of AC wasn't usually an issue (very few rooms have it in these cabins, which usually is fine anyway)||||Amenities are nice as well. Sandy beach area with a dock for the kids and adults. Boats, kayaks, shuffle board, ping-pong, a fire pit (it's hard to get access to seeing as many groups like to use it. The grounds are kept up nicely as well.

Wonderful place for a summer family vacation. Mu parents took me there summers when I was a kid; decided to go there with my family 30 years later! Totally lived up to my memories, we had a fantastic time and can't wait to continue a new tradition next summer. Beautiful, peaceful place to stay with lots of recreation options, plus easy access to Lakr George and Saratoga areas for other fun activities.

Hidden gem. The dock and beach are on-site with unlimited row boat/canoe use. Fishing is top notch. Cabin #11 had steady WIFI, hot water, screened-in porch with Adirondack chairs and air conditioning. It was a perfect spot for an Adirondack escape. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Owner forgot we where checking in and our cabin #19 seemed like it hadn't been aired out in quite some time. Definitely rustic. Cabin 15 updated where our boys stayed. Yes there's a kitchen but if you are trying to cook for a family, very limited space to work with. WiFi was definitely not great but worked out in keeping us off our phones for a while. Location is great, amenities where entertaining and useful.

Our first cabin in the woods experience. Bob was very friendly. Marlo the dog was super friendly and playful. The cabin was good. About what I would expect from a rustic older place. The shower left something to be desired. No water pressure. Hardly a trickle. Had to wash my hair in the sink. And the refrigerator peeked a little. But all and all, we had a great family vacation.

We stayed in cabin 11 and my sister stayed in cabin 9. The cabins are cute, and come with everything you need. They could use a little updating but that didn't bother us. The property is well taken care of, quite & has some activities to do right there if you don't want to drive 10 minutes to lake George. Overall we had a great stay and will be back next year!
