Lake Technical College - Technical school in Eustis - 2001 Kurt St, USA

I went to their Financial aid department only to be told they're a Pell grant only school. They don't accept student loans. This was disappointing. The staff were perfessional. It's too bad for those of use who are in the " middle" can't get an education because they sometimes rely on the loans.

is a diligent school, i spend a year using my car, using my money for gas and car insure. all that just to tell me that because i a immigrant i can't continua education, after a year. this a so discriminatory, just because i a immigrant.

If i could give it zero stars i would. Worst place on earth to be. If you’re thinking of going to school for anything chose somewhere else don’t torture yourself by coming here!!

they kicked me out of cosmo in 2022 because my grandpa passed. they made me pay out of state tuition prices (3x the in state amount), kicked me out after a month because the instructors were extremely rude and unprofessional. this school may say their ADA complaint but they're ableist towards anyone. They couldn't accommodate my ADHD from the start either. They also tried to charge me $12k for hours they didn't let me complete. They can ask but they will not be receiving a dime. Do not waste your time here. The teachers are here for the pay and not for the benefit for helping educate others on the program they enrolled in. I've heard many other similar stories from other former students as well who had very similar experiences as well. Same with some of the other girls who got kicked from cosmo for poor mental health, disabilities such as physical/mental/hearing/etc. Lake Tech has denied these claims to any of their victims but please look into other vocational/technical colleges. Please read all of the other honest 1 star reviews to know what to expect when enrolling at this establishment.

It's been over a year and a half since I got my GED here and it was a pretty solid experience. I graduated in May of 2022 and was 19 at the time (I'm 21 now the time of writing this review). The teachers there, Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Segreto, were incredible to work with! I was even inducted into the National Adult Education Honors Society by my teachers for my hard work, participation, and cooperation with other students. From what I remember, some of the students were kind of immature and even disrupted my testing for the practice tests. I was content that I passed all my exams and the best part is that Lake Tech offered me a separate room to take my exams because of my learning difference. Overall, I hope everyone there is doing okay still!

When trying to achieve And do better and ask your instructor, dean , or health instructor you get the cold shoulder. They don’t care about students feelings Either you in or you out. If your out it makes there ratings good because they got the ones out they choose not to help. Or the teacher will tell you maybe nursing not for you, you should try something else. Discouraging you not supporting you and you spending your money. Then test you for a whole bunch of stuff at the end because their schedule is off. Don’t tell you it’s a 18 month class until the last min. The nursing part of this school is not helpful at all. They believe the teacher before they believe the students. The students have no say in nothing but people are to scared to speak up. You are teaching yourself and that is not fair at all.

This the best college I had ever attended to from admission, testing room, cafeteria staff, instructors the whole staff is wonderful. The experience got even better with my instructors Mrs.Roberts, Mr. Segreto and Mrs.Collins will make sure you reach your goal and encourage to not stop their. This is the reason why I will attend next year for another program without doubt best decision I had made in a long time..

Got my nursing degree from Lake Tech MANY years ago, and I'm still a nurse. I credit my instructors for making me the nurse I am today! Thank you! Prior to that degree, I was the only female to have graduated from the automotive class.
