We love the Lake Stevens Food Bank! My husband helped there every week before Covid. They took care of us during a very challenging time when family cancers required I quit working and a near fatal car accident for my husband turned our lives upside down! They call us family and will go to bat for you too. We are so thankful for Georgia,Susan and all those involved who help care for so many in our community.

Today I went to this food bank, I expressed to then that we are a family of six, two adults and four kids, that we had used the last of our gas to make it there today, told them that our household was EXTREMELY strapped on food. I was turned around, saying that because it wasn't Thursday (today is Monday) that I couldn't get anything distributed to me. Then was further told after I explained our food and gas situation that "July is a new year and you have to reregister anyways". This was only my second visit in the entire year. No where on Google does it say that this bank only distributes on Thursdays, so when I saw it was open today for a couple hours I didn't hesitate to go. It's upsetting to me that a food bank would turn away a family in need with four kids over a day of the week.
A dedicated group of volunteers committed to making sure the families of Lake Stevens have enough food. Donations of food and money are needed. Please donate if you are able.
I adore the volunteers at this food bank. They are very nice and treat everyone with such respect and kindness. They are organized and helpful with the donations. VERY RESPECTFUL!!
We went here to donate some food. The lady we dealt with was a wonderful person. She thanked me about 6 times for the donation we dropped off.
