The views are amazing! Throughout the route, there are lake views. Downloading the trail is recommended since it's little challenging to follow through the campgrounds and other places.

Beautiful hike around the lake. Lots of parking and the trail wasn’t that busy at all.

We walked this spring the winter and it was a relaxing trail with deer sightings! Much of the walkway was covered in sticks and snow banks so be prepared to hike around them.

An incredibly beautiful walk around the lake. Spent the day, had a picnic lunch in a wonderful picnic area. Got in over 6 miles of fresh air and stunning scenery. A must when you are in the area

Amazing trail of 7 miles around lake Siskiyou... Pretty easy hike. With beautiful views

What parking?! Everything was fenced and locked with "no parking" signs! I was able to stop briefly to get a snapshot of the lake, but that was it.

I live the bridge here! Access to the trail was smooth and well groomed. This is a good place for pictures of Siskiyou and Mt. Shasta!!

Great place to start your hike from. Vault toilets are okay. Seen way worse.

Plenty of parking, easy walk down to the lake to set up at a spot. If you prefer to walk there is a trail that starts here and wraps around the lake. The loop is over 7 miles. I walked down and went to the left to start. Nice views and pretty shaded
