Nice walking trail that is mostly visible and safe. Be sure to go during the day, though. There are no lights at night. It is a mile loop from start to finish, and there are many turtles and birds to see.
Very peaceful and relaxing park to go for a walk or run. One mile loop around the late with beautiful views. Lots of folks fish or on the water in boats, kayaks, etc. Picnic area with grills. Sunsets are amazing. Disc golf course, too.
A nice place for morning or evening run / hike / bike around the lake.
Very beautiful lake to have right down the street. The sidewalk going around it is 1 mile with markers every quarter mile, so it's great for running and exercing. I like to walk over to the lake after work and just take in the veiw for a few minutes to releave stress. The path also go's through a wooded area so that's nice too. At least a few people are always there so don't expect to be alone unless you go off the path and into the forest (be careful if you do). It's never what I'd consider crowded though. There's also disc golf but I don't see people using the goals to often. If you're feeling a little adventures you can go off the path and through the forest to get to lake Lewisville, i think it's lake Lewisville. Providence village is man made by the way if that matters to anyone.
My only suggestions is to add a gymnastics/ pull-up bars and make the sidewalk around the lake more skateboard friendly (as in fill in the cracks/ gaps between every square. Basically make it smoother)
Oh and there's a pokie stop there (Pokemon go)
Its a nice lake. The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. There is a one mile loop trail around the lake for walking, running or biking. You will find some white ducks swimming in the lake. I also spotted several black vultures perching on a tree nearby. Look out for swarms of tiny insects near the shore. I don't believe they are harmful, but I wouldn't want to stick my face in it.
Boats and kayaks are allowed and there is a convenient ramp by the parking lot. This lake is however not open for outsiders.
The park overlooks the lake. There is a cover with tables and a grill for use. There's a water fountain, but no restroom. There is a paved walking trail that is a mile all the way around. There is limited parking. It's a great place for picnics and block parties.
Clean and well maintained one mile walking & bike path. Covered pagoda area and three or so benches along the water grouped together on one side.
It was blissful. They maintained it awesome, and less crowded. Highly recommended!
