This is a great park. I kind of wonder about some of the trolling that has been occurring lately. I am going to share something that is important- no, not about the weirdos. They will get caught eventually. Check this out. If you are from the West End of PCB- you'll love it.. I grew up on the West End at the Bay County line, along with my rowdy friends from West Bay, and trailer dwellers from Bayside Park area. Panama City was glad we couldn't get across the old two lane Hathaway Bridge. We trailblazed this whole future Conservation Park with 3 or 4 wheelers, dirt bikes, and 4X4 trucks, while getting chased and rarely caught by the Bay County Sheriffs Department, all with respect and deference and no real criminality. (Mad respect to Deputies Harry Way And Lonnie Sellers). Back then, if we neared a power line on a state/county road, they came after us hard, then jumped into our scrub brush trails, and got stuck in that sugary white sand that we made into this trail. (Calling a tow truck afterwards) Former Mayor Oberst sponsored it and made it happen so helmets off to her, but we were the pioneers that dug the trenches. I could ride my dirt bike from Phillips Inlet to Bayside Park in about 40 minutes; in the dark, with whoopty doo's and crazy jumps, with only sugar white sands for guidance. (No Headlamps) It was a completely different world back then and I don't think I honestly appreciated it. I do now and so should you. Never forget this. P.S. You little pretentious, gentrified home owners that occupy the border of this park, and complain incessantly; you should be grateful that we don't ride it again.. maybe we should...Ha!
Great place to launch paddle boards and cruise down to the Inlet and the beach. Easy access, Plenty of parking, covered areas with picnic tables too.
We we're traveling with a 16 month old child on her 1st trip to the beach. It was a red flag day, surf was pretty forceful and quite windy. Found this park on Powell Lake only a couple miles away. Water & wind were significantly calmer. The water itself was brownish, but clear. The website for Camp Helen State Park nearby explains that and says its safe. Would be a good place for kayaking or lounging on a swim mattress or other inflatable. There are shade trees and a picnic pavillion. Swing set and restrooms too.
Great place to paddleboard or to put in a boat. There's plenty of packing and even covered pavilions with picnic tables. I was surprised to see a roped off area for swimming, there's a little beach area. We saw tons of fish and even a few turtles.
Nice. My Daughter and I have been getting out of the house and stopping by for a little relaxing. Clean and well shaded.
Canoed from the boat ramp to the ocean... Beautiful day, (except for the graffiti under the bridge.)
Beautiful place! Great for a stroll for couples or families.
Beautiful park with lots of shady trees and a nice beach. The bathrooms are gross, though... Definitely need to be renovated.

I bring my Onewheel here to ride and the trails are always nicely maintained and properly marked. Lots of nature to see even if it is mostly just mono-cropped pine tree forest.
My 10 year old freaked out but the person who helped us was INCREDIBLY patient. We got through it (and jumped over all the pressure sensors that tripped the various puffs of air, etc.) It was really cool, definitely got the heart rate up, and I have

I went around lunch for a sweet snack. I had an order of 3 beignets that were pretty good. The snowball was amazing. I loved the thin shaved ice and plenty of syrup so there was no plain ice. It was so cool to see an actual block of ice loaded into a
I ordered both the chicken and tuna salads, along with 2 smoothies and everything was amazing!! Jacob hand-prepared everything to order and the flavors were unmatched. If you are in a rush, I would call 25-30 minutes before to place your order. I de
Britta, was absolutely fantastic. So very nice. The shop was very clean. Reasonably priced. The restroom, customers only, very clean. Ice cream comes in a standard cone or bowl. Waffle cones are $1.50. The ice cream was super creamy and flavorful. A
This local coffee shop was a quick lyft ride from my hotel at Pier Park. I always ask the locals where they go and hang out and drink coffee. Several people recommended this. It did not disappoint! The relaxing atmosphere and quirky, decorations, a
