Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge - Bridge in Metairie - 3939 North Causeway Boulevard, USA

OMG! I never thought it would be 25+ miles stretch. I am from Toronto, came to New Orleans for the new year. The drive on the causeway was amazing, it’s like never ending. It’s a must visit place for the visitors. But we need to pay $6 for the other way around.

Pretty cool bridge, the longest in the world too! Time definitely passed by way quicker than I thought but for a tourist who just wanted to drive on the world's longest bridge it does just that, nothing more nothing less. What was cool was it took our airplane 8 minutes to cross the bridge to get to the other side!

Historical landmark that serves its purposes. Get a preloaded tag, have $5 cash or exit tolls before approach because they do not have an automated license plate ticket system. Keep speeds under 70 and 65 when winds are high or visibility is minimum to ensure safety. The views are quite mesmerizing from either side. 💎

Finally knocked this off my bucket list! My anxiety level was low, as was the bridge. Easy drive. Free northbound. $5 southbound at the toll.

This Bridge is like the the part in the Red Sea. Pretty sure it was built by Moses. It goes over the horizon, one of the longest bridges in America.

While in the area I wanted to drive across the world’s longest bridge to be able to say I did it. Went north bound and enjoyed the drive.

A long drive over alligator filled water. I enjoyed this experience.I have read that some people can't handle the drive over water as far as the eye can see causing them to stop in the middle of the causeway and needing to be escorted off by police. Nor should you drive a car that might break down as accidents occur this way. But if you can handle all that water and a 30 minute drive one way, I recommend it.

Pretty cool experience if you have never driven on these types of bridges in south Florida (I haven't)
