Great Lake, I was pleasantly surprised by how big it was. Their are many lifeguards at the beach area and wasn’t to packed on a summer weekend. Parking area was great, big lots and not a far walk to the beach areas. There are bathrooms, grassy areas, covered benches where you can have parties and the parking for our car was $20. This was the cleanest lake I’ve been to, the water didn’t smell funny and there was even shells in the sand which my kids had fun finding. Water wasn’t freezing & was pretty warm. We got there around 12:00 and there was no long lines to get in like another lake we tried to get into. The whole family loves our time here and we look forward to visit again.

This place can be beautiful. The view out the back of my trailer is great. And during the week it is very quiet. There is a native American Interpretative center, marina, campgrounds, picnic pavillions and day use beaches. But it is awful to be here on a winter holiday weekend. Could not imagine how awful it would be in summer. Based on vandalism, trash, graffiti and beer tops it is clear that they need a larger police department. Restrooms do get cleaned but who ever does maintenance is not licensed or skilled. None of the restrooms, pavillions or buildings are not numbered so no way to report problems or direct services in event of emergency. Police to reapond to 911 calls but don't enforce the law, do not issue tickets or make arrests. This place could be nice but seems like it's being neglected by staff and treated with disrespect by the visitors.
Nice place to camp. Configuration is diferent than other campgrounds. No black tank conection, only gray tank discharge. There is a dump station .
Nice camps, for overnight, and small-big groups. Lake with small swimming beaches. Good hikes to the mountain top with fantastic views.
Very clean bathrooms. Water was very clear with a beautiful beach area. Weather was gorgeous first week of June. Rangers are always patrolling and available. No wind except right after sun goes down. Awesome fire pits. Not much shade so bring easy ups. Some sites have built in bbqs. Nice place
Oh my gosh!!! It was amazing! We had such a beautiful camping spot, and the lake was absolutely amazing as well. We took out our Avon inflatable boat and went to Alesandro Island. The kids loved it. Truly an amazing place to visit and camp. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, even when I left my wallet at home with my credit cards to pay! 😆 They let me drive home to get it while my family set up camp.
This place was great. Great location. Plenty of space and parking for each lot. Also habe electricity and water for a bit extra , so worth it. I went with family. Bathrooms were clean for showers 🚿 👌 as well and security as well. Definitely will come back for more family trips.

I have 4 sons, ages from 13 to 1. They all have fun here, it has something for everyone. It's summer time and the splash pad is currently on. Bathrooms are clean, kinda wet from the splash pad. It has shaded seating with benches.

Have been coming to this place for many years. IT IS CASH ONLY!! They do have an Atm inside. There are always long lines which is a testament to the taste of their food. Hands down the best carnitas around. Price per pound is 12 and combo is 16 for 1
