Every time I come out here, I see wildlife. Deer, hogs, gators, owls, etc. The scenery is amazing. Highly recommend (bring water /mud boots)
Nice and peaceful, though very wild so waterproof hiking boots are recommended, the path tends to wash out after heavy rain. Also be aware that hunting is allowed within the conservation area so be sure to check the sign posted on the fence before entering, and wear some form of easily visible/colorful clothing item
Very easy to find all 3 trail heads in the 415 area. I found the trail muddy in some areas and was glad to have good, waterproof hiking boots. Headed off onto what is called the yellow trail but it's not blazed. It's marked with ties on the trees but even these petered out and I could not locate a trail with all the new, spring growth. I spotted 2 baby wild pigs basking side by side in a ray of sunshine :-)
Love this grouping of trails! Tons of trails to get lost in(in a good way) if you haven't been I highly suggest you check them out. You'll thank me when you do😁
Lots of people and trash. Would be a beautiful place if cleaned up.
Its pretty quiet, great paths, not much else. 2 bars t-mobile, 68 channels scanned in on tv, so thats a plus....
Hiked the Brickyard Slough Tract to the St John's River. Great 4 mile round trip hike to a shelter/camping area beside the river. Watch out for the cow patties and you'll be good. Great views and fantastic scenery. Great bird watching, too - saw a bald eagle and tons of other birds.
This place is so peaceful and the scenery is breath taking. Excellent running/bike trail.
This is good old-fashioned home cooking. The food is awesome. I had their hane and cheese omelet, and it did not disappoint. We will start a tradition and come here every week for their food. Loved it! And it's nestled in Osteen, beautiful place!
Nice place to go hiking. I haven't used the campsites, but they look pretty nice. However there is a lot of litter on the trails. I pick some up each time I go.
