Lake Marion Park in Mazomanie. Five star-rating for; no swimming, no wading, no boating, no fires, no camping, no grills, no glass containers, no playground, no hunting, no feeding ducks or other wildlife, no sailing, kayak to nowhere, no sunset, no bathrooms, and no wonder I haven’t stopped in 30 years. Lake NO (no comma). Marion Pond would be suitable. Town saw fit to ad a shelter with picnic tables, try grilling before prior to picnicking. Few benches to enjoy a still pond, scores a 10 out of 10 for mosquitoes. Don’t feed them either. This park is a representation of Mazomanie “Live Outside” initiative. Congratulations Mazo, #1 lake No(pe) in Dane County! Psst, dogs okay on leash, no water.
Fun Park, great place to bring a dog for a walk around the lake.
Its quiet and peaceful never to crowded with friendly people
Cool spot to hangout, play some games, and eat. They had some picnic tables and a pavilion for public use. The lake has a launch for kayaks, but you can't fish in it. Overall nice spot for a nice afternoon or weekend.
Little off-road park on a good size pond. Good place for a break and a dog walk.
A great place to learn to kayak.
Great place to sit and relax bring your animals and fish walking trails
No fishing or swimming as of summer 2020, but good grass and benches. It's pleasant to walk around and hangout. Non motored boats allowed

This is a quaint little coffee house right on the square in McKenzie. Parking is a bit of a struggle because you have to park on either side of the street. If you're not a fan of parallel parking, you might be in a bind. Luckily, I didn't have to go
Extremely tidy store that offers up samples of their cheese before you buy them. The samples are quite tasty and since we were going to APT to watch a live performance we bought some mozzarella string cheese and beef jerkey to snack at the performan
I really like this trail. It's scenic, well-maintained, follows a nice stretch of Black Earth Creek, and it's a great place to get out and enjoy the outdoors. I head down there thinking I'll spend an hour or so taking photos, and 3 hours later, I'm g
There was a buffet with several meat and vegetable options as well as salad and homemade rolls and ð desserts. It was wonderful. The building is an old mill and very quaint with a gift shop with homemade home goods and jellies and jams. Atmosphere
