Beautiful beach with a nice pier and great views of trees and dark blue water in Gaston lake. Clean portable restrooms and convenient parking.

Nice place to go and swim and just hang out for a few hours. Took one star away because they don't let you have a dog there. Since I am a big animal lover, this was unacceptable to me.

First time visit to the Lake Gaston area. Small but quaint day use area with a small beach and swimming area. Nice little pier where you can fish. Watched others on the lake fish and swim off their pontoon. Kiddo was excited to find some shells. Received a 4/5 rating due to the cleanliness which is sad because people are so…well people. There were cigarette butts and trash around the picnic table closest to the beach area which was definitely a turn off but also so unfair to the grounds team to have to clean up after other adults. That part was extremely disappointing. Otherwise the area was nice.

A very nice place to relax and enjoy the water. You can grill and have a birthday party there, or go boating and have a wonderful time with family and friends.

It was our first time there, Not much beach area to sit in. The swimming area needs some work,the ropes are broken and lots of rocks at the edge to step on under the water. I assume that will be fixed before peak season. Nice fishing pier and shaded picnic tables. All in all we had a fun and relaxing day. The kids enjoyed it.

What a lovely place! Clean beautiful lake. Great boating and fishing.

Dogs aren't allowed. There's not much shade. I called to reserve the pavilion, when my message was finally returned I had missed the call, so I called back. The lady was rushed and said she'd call me right back, but never did. Others seemed to be enjoying horseshoes and swimming even though it was hot and the water was mirky.
