You can find some big flathead and blue if you're lucky. Nice place to take the bike also!
Idk much about the lake, but I ride in the ATV area. It's ok. A good place for beginners or just needing to test your bike maintenance, break-ins and such.
State record catfish once taken near the dam. Oh the stories I have of this lake.. in the 80s my uncle built a dirt bike track there, now I barely recognize the place..

It's a lake, you can expect lake things. Ppl camping, some fishing, the occasional over drinkers and problem starters. All in all not a bad lake at all. Decent fishing, decent camping, great restroom facilities....
Love this lake! Swimming, fishing, boating, play ground, covered group area by play yard, ducks to feed, dogs welcome on leashes, great for walks, rc area, 4th of July blow out!
