Lake Darling Resort - Resort hotel in Alexandria - 2301 County Rd 22 NW, USA

We chose this location for a girls trip and were all impressed with this resort. The townhouse was beautifully decorated with high end features throughout. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. It was great to have so many bathrooms for all of us to get ready for the day! We had everything we needed and really enjoyed having coffee in the screen porch in the morning and taking in the view of the lake just steps from our door. Even has an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna - highly recommend! Loved the downtown shops, Carlos Winery and Lure restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

Love this resort! Stayed here with family and had so much fun! The place is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need! So spacious with plenty of room for everyone. The view is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely am planning to come back!

This resort is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. It is close to the winery and great boutique shops in Alexandria. The resort was full but we rented a pontoon for two days. The manager, Dave, was extremely kind and gave us a tour of one of the villas. It was extremely clean and very nice. Nathan was in charge of having the pontoon ready. He was excellent with giving information and instructions on how to run it. He was extremely kind and catered to all our needs. Definitely a 5 star review!!

This was the best place for a family vacation! We went to celebrate my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary and we all thought the resort was wonderful! The cabins were very clean, had nice beds/pillows, and nice things to use in the kitchen. We couldn't think of anything that they missed and thought everything was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed with our kids who are almost 2 and 4. They had such a blast, I don't think they stopped smiling the entire time because there were so many fun things for them to do. If you're looking for a nice, relaxing place to take your family for some time at the lake, this is the place. I would likely recommend it. We will definitely be booking another trip back to Lake Darling Resort!

Fantastic experience! From booking through our stay, we had a truly fantastic experience! Their communication leading up to our stay was incredible - they have thought of all details and did an amazing job of letting us know what kitchen items would be available and what things we should bring from home (like tin foil, coffee grounds, etc). The rooms and common spaces in our Villa were beautifully appointed and everything was very clean. It was perfect for our girls weekend! We all have kids and are planning a trip back with our entire families. It's a great space for kids (no sharp corners on the furniture or too many decorative objects). The staff we interacted with were wonderful! BOOK YOUR TRIP, you'll be happy you did! Note: I am very quick to judge a place by their website and wasn't so sure about this place because there aren't a ton of pictures. I wish I could sing their praises even louder. It was so great!

Stayed for a wedding in the area. The units are large and have a great kitchen space. It's unfortunate the pool and game area hours are so limited but it makes sense for the space they have. Would stay again.
