Great lake to fish it's coming back! Ramps everywhere to put in. State Park is wonderful.
Just awesome to be outside and taking pictures
Beautiful place.. watch for spiders lol
This review is for those interested in the mountain bike trail. It has some roots, some rocks but nothing compared to a lot of the trails in Arkansas. Lots of small ups and downs with only one section of short bigger hills. Nothing that I would call technical. Mostly twisty fast track. That said I actually trail ran this trail as I do not have my bike around. A couple of junctions you will need to stop but the signs have steel dots to mark where you are at. A picture of the big map at the start will help you determine which path is the one you want. I did the entire thing it was 9.08 miles according to my Garmin 935 set to high accuracy. No real offshoot trails to confuse you, if you see a trail it's on the map, not some local worn offshoot that makes the map less useful. Between 3.75 and 4 miles in starting counter clockwise there are several trees down requiring a walk around. 6.5 miles in is the pond. A challenging (due to distance on foot) enjoyable trail run.
Such a great place to swim. All because the Lord Jesus provided a great place for me.
Lake Dardanelle is a great lake and great location. It has many areas to find good fishing and summer hosts the jet skis and skiers. These photos are right off of I-40 on Lakeshore Rd. It is inviting any time of year. Many Bait Shops line the perimeter. You just need someone who knows where the fish arr are.
Lake Dardanelle is one of our favorite go-to's. Love fishing and tubing here
We fish here all the time boat docks could be repaired but water seems clean and fishing is great. Can't comment on the swimming don't swim here. Since people who do.
Even during a historic flood this place provides beautiful photo opportunities. I grew up playing on the playground equipment in the park, watching soccer games and playing ball here and so have our kids. I do miss the barrel on the playground and
