The lake is overflowing from all the rain we've had lately and some of the trails are inaccessible. Still a nice walk with lots of birds chirping and ducks quacking.
Hidden gem tucked away in Carlsbad. Everything is possible, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, walking, and even strollers will take to atleast one of the paths in this park around a small reservoir. There are lots of entrances to access this park and lots of little side trails. This is a great place to go offroad biking for the first time as the trails are well maintained and mostly wide. Keep in mind this park does not offer much shade, plan on getting to the park early on warmer days. There are a few boardwalks over the edges of the marshes and you can get a closer look at plants and birds that are hanging around.
Great hiking trails one to Volcano some go around the dam with ducks and birds. Alot of greenery and trees. Some uphill area n rocky. Good trail shoes work best. Takes an hour to go around dam. You can enter thru Oak Riparian Park at the playground.
Definitely some small parts of the trail towards the top where it can get a little sketchy, but there are so many paths that one or two will certainly be safe to use for families. Lots of bikers and hikers go on this trail. I showed up at 5am to watch the sun rise, no one really showed up till after 6am sharp. Slowly people really start to come at 6. If you want some alone time with your special one, I'd show up at 5 so you can beat everyone else to the top.
Pretty nice hiking spot was supposed to be an old volcano
A gateway to many walking trails around the lake and beyond. It’s a gateway to a very large open area outside the reserve.
Very fun... gorgeous view. Easy parking!
Beautiful well maintained trail! Thank you volunteers and city of Carlsbad.

Fun trail for mountain biking, with some singletrack (and various offshoot trails). Heavily rutted in areas. Nice scenic area in middle of suburbia. Some fun wooden planks to bike over, and some near "tree tunnel" sections in the northwest area
Nice park. There is a lot more there, than it looks. There's a lot of depth to the park when you walk back. There's a tennis court that you walk up the steps to, a sand floored volleyball court, basketball court and kids playground area. Also there's
So this is one of my droning spots. Great park. Great neighborhood. Excellent weather year round. It's a small park. Probably not a super good place to bring your kids seeing how it's like right next to the street. But, a great place to take a break.
Good breakfast, at reasonable price, on an outdoor patio. I would go back. It is not a sit down and comfortable casual atmosphere. You order inside at the counter and they bring it out to you. We sat by the patio firepit on an October morning. Very e
I love OTF LA COSTA!!! Very welcoming! The instructors are energetic, friendly and supportive. I usually take 5-6 classes a week. Regardless of the time and day I go for a workout, I leave the studio feeling sore and happy at the same time. I highly
F45 was the best decision I made for myself in the last year. Every class, every coach, is so amazing! There is nothing better than rolling in, getting to listen to funky jams, dance a lil, and get your (very sweaty) workout in and done for the day.

Amazing spot to grab a drink - beer, nonalcoholic beer (ð¥°), sodas, and cold brew! Plus they have some small snacks for purchase. Many great nooks and crannies to relax and enjoy your drinks. Patio seating, bar, long tables, and cozy 2-4 tops. TV i
Best Lasagna Bologna! Lobster Ravioli was rich in taste and fillings. The Pizza, you just gotta try it. Family oriented restaurant. Small fine wine selection but very good.
Highly recommend this gym if youâre looking to dial in on technique and endurance. This place has an amazing atmosphere and everyone is entirely welcoming as soon as you walk through the doors. Thanks Nadine, and everyone at CKC for the warm welcom
