Laguna Diablo Resort - Resort hotel in Del Rio - 875 Sanders Point Rd, USA

The remote location ensures peace & quiet with a scenic view of the river. I haven't seen stars that bright except for camping.| We stayed #1 which is the closest to the river. The interior was a little dated but with some recent updates such as new stove & ceramic tile. Most of the cabins were built in the 40's, with stone walls & a screen door. There is a washer & dryer. There is one restaurant/convenience store in the area (5 mins) otherwise its a 30 min drive into town so ensure that you have all your supplies before you head out there. Would definitely come again.

The drive in is a little deceptive but just keep on going. The cabins are huge. Cabin 9 and 10 have a great view of the canyon and river. We were so happy to sit on the porch and watch the sunset while the grill was getting just right to cook steaks. The sky at night is loaded with stars. Because everyone always wants to know, the bed was really comfortable! The hosts are wonderful and ready to help in any way they can. Be sure to say hello to the two labs who greet you at the office!. Keep your eye open for deer and wild sheep on the way in.

Our duplex cabin (2 bedroom) had the essentials inside but outside it holds a wonderful connection to the beauty surrounded by limestone cliffs at the waters edge. We had friendly deer all day. Birds singing. Palm leafs rustling in the breeze. The stars we're almost as good as the view in fort Davis. Each cabin has a working kitchen with everything you need. Our cabin had one tiny restroom with tub shower and a washer and dryer. The bedrooms were each a nice size. The owners live on-site which helps when needed. We got away from work and settled into nature. Bring your own soaps and shampoo and hairdryer. We look forward to coming back.|Picky city women might complain. Bring your country here!

The Lodge at Sanders point is what it is called now. We loved this place. My parents brought us to this area 50 years ago. I wanted my family to see the area. The lodge at Sanders point just made the trip perfect. The uniqueness of this lodge made you fill like you were part of this land. You could hear the wild goats and watch them climb the cliffs. We have already started planning our next years trip.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay at The Lodge at Sanders Point. Our cabin was very spacious and comfortable. It was fully furnished and had several amenities such as washer/dryer, full kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, linens and towels. The new owners were very friendly and accommodating. The views were outstanding! The patios were furnished with chairs so we could sit, watch and relax. We saw several animals while we were there including deer, birds, wild turkeys and the Lodge goat, Amistad. We'll definitely be visiting again!

Best secret in Del Rio Texas. If you are wanting the camping experience with the comfort of home this is your place!!! The trails to the river creates the adventure of hike. You get to unplug from technology (no wifi ) The deer come close, the sunset breath taking!!! the stars at night omgosh sooooo many!!! Our stay perfect. The owners hospitality is old fashion country loving they welcome you to their home with open arms... Must definitely we felt safe on the property. We decide this will become our traditionally vacation spot for many years to come. @inlovewiththisplace.

this place is away from town by the lake very quiet and peaceful. the duplexes are very clean and the owners are real nice. there are deer in the mornings and evenings, sound of birds singing in the morning. would go there again. the only thing I didn't like is that the terrain is pretty bad to walk down to the lake, very steep lots of brush. the store and restaurant is close by also the boat ramp. there was new owners when we went a year ago and they were working on the place so maybe they made a trail to the lake.

Great stay! Huge rooms, full kitchen, washer and dryer, central AC/heating. The lodge is only a few miles from the marina and the local bar/burger joint. Stone buildings make for nice quiet nights when the winds pick up. The new owners are friendly and treated us like family!😉
