Come here with my fur babies when my grandmother's apartment is due for cleaning, such a great place to just sit with some nature. In the summer I love seeing the little turtles pop their heads up in the water. Plenty of trail for walking around the lagoon, or plenty of seating to observe nature or enjoy a bahn mi (bahn mi and coffee is my go-to!).
Only gripe is I wish people would educate themselves on NOT feeding BREAD to ducks! DO feed them cracked corn, oats, rice, birdseed, frozen peas, chopped lettuce, or sliced grapes. The more you know 🌈 🌟
Great place to walk around, picnic or ride your bike/ebike. There are ducks, geese, otters and great blue heron and a black night heron that dwells there. Fair every year on July 1 through 4.
Always love the atmosphere here. Mostly quiet and relaxing to walk your dogs, or take your kid for a stroll. Some groups get together and do fun activities, like the group that sails their model sail boats in the lagoon. The only gripe are the bathrooms, not very clean and seem to breakdown often.
It's just a beautiful place to take the family. Lots to do. And great for taking your dog for a walk.
Beautiful multi-use year round park serves as the Marin County Fair each summer. Lovely place to walk, play or picnic. Lots of wildlife make their home here. (Large flocks of Canada Geese have apparently decided to stop doing their yearly migration, in favor of becoming permanent resident foul here!)
Lagoon Park near Civic Ctr? Great place for walks, to take children to ride bikes and scooters. Great place to walk a dog. HOWEVER, have never seen the duck pond so filthy with a thick green slime! Health Hazard?
We celebrated our country Independence day in this place and we got a lot of Fun.
El Salvador 🇸🇻 Independence Day
When we went there were a ton of birds! Even a Heron! He was looking so regal lording himself over the other birds. It was a magnificent experience. If a little frightening due to the hordes of Canada Geese that watched us with their beady eyes the entire time we were there.
A hidden gem and historical site that provides a quiet place to contemplate life. several places to stop along the way there, good parking, beautiful view,. Great for families or individual. Bumpy two lane road part of the way. Another hidden gem
Made a trip from Sacramento to this wonderful place for a Memorial of Life. This was my first trip there, and I was very impressed with the location. Beautiful weather during my visit, others there were polite and respected the rules of the park. Sp
Absolutely authentic and marvelous cuisine. We tried it once and came back many times with friends and family. The staff are attentive and warm. We just tried their lunch menu. It is so affordable and mind-blowing good. I recommend the spicy chicken
