Lago East Bank - Northern Italian restaurant in Cleveland - 1091 W 10th St, USA

Came to Lago last Saturday morning for my boyfriend’s brunch. Atmosphere was very pleasant and staff were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everything was great from start to finish. The bloody Mary’s were very good, are starter was great along with our meals! They made sure to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday and brought him a cannoli with candles. We will definitely be back to try them out for dinner! I would recommend 10/10.

My son was in from New York and we stopped in for a quick meal before heading to the Guardian’s team shop so he could represent Cleveland at Yankee’s Stadium. Always impressed by the service and the quality of food, I knew Lago was the place to go! I felt safe parking in the attached garage and being a “freeze baby,” it was nice that we didn’t have to walk outside and could go directly from the parking garage into the restaurant. We were seated quickly and immediately provided with our menu options by the hostess then approached by our server within minutes. He was equally attentive and accommodating. Service was quick & efficient. The meal presentation looked delicious and the fresh flavors did not lack in the least! My favorite soup is Italian Wedding soup and I had been craving it for some time. I was impressed that the meatballs remained juicy and the broth was clear & not in the least bit greasy. It was loaded with the right portions of broth:veggies:meatballs:yumminess! Flavorful and absolutely hit the spot on a cool, autumn day! There were several business meetings and/or professionals conducting their business in the restaurant but that did not deter family patrons like us or other couples in there enjoying a mid-day meal together. A nice mix of different walks of life! I can’t wait to go back!

Delicious meal! Their meatballs and sauce are pretty damn close to the ones my family make (possibly the best meatballs I have ever had at a restaurant), the pizza is a must with pepperoni and red sauce- and the salad was perfection. As for the drinks, were excellent- especially the ice cold sunshine— good god, I would go back just for that lol. Wonderful atmosphere. We did have to wait a little bit for the pizza to arrive, however, they made it larger than usual and it was well with the wait. Great place in a beautiful location.

Delicious Italian food in a cool indoor and outdoor setting. There is a very big patio with fire and plenty of tables, as well as a very nice indoor area. The food was great...loved the lobster gnocchi! The service was excellent. All around great experience...will definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant with a nice outside patio. There was a lady playing guitar and singing when I was there. She was very good. I only tried the wedding soup and it was excellent. I had a couple of fashions with your also made superbly.

We were very happy to spend our 6th wedding anniversary here. Lorenz reached out and we are glad. The service was amazing and timely, even after requesting a different table. We ordered the meatballs and the first thing we noticed was the Sauce! The meatballs were tender and flavorful, but that Sauce! We followed that with Chicken Parmesan with... you guessed it, the Sauce! Our server, Josh was was right on point. We wish it was a little more intimate, but the food is great.

Great music and vibes.  Good service. Ordered the expresso martini and chicken and waffle. Chicken was underseasoned but cooked nicely, good crispy breading (not dry). Waffle was okay.  Good texture decent flavor, But didn't really give sweet potato. Expresso martini was good.  A little milky/ frothy than I'm used to (but I also usually get them made with bourbon, so idk if that makes a difference). My friend ordered the poptarts and they came in the cutest toaster. He had them before and recommended them. Could be served with more sauce. The other 2 friends got the blueberry waffle and the brisket or beef hash.They both really enjoyed their meals and also got expresso martinis. Overall, I would return.

We had my son and future daughter in laws engagement party there on January 1oth. This was not our first event there. I would like to thank Luke Austin, the servers and bartenders for making the evening fantastic. The food was excellent, drinks were solid and all of the staff were friendly and professional.
