This review is for a hotel venue at Lafayette Hotel. This is a stunning venue with the best team who will make your event extra special! I planned, decorated and coordinated a Baby Shower Event at Lafayette Park Hotel and enjoyed working with Kimberly and Kim and the team. The team was proactive, smart and hard working and very detail oriented. Our event was a big success and our clients and guests were elated and happy. Our clients chose their Brunch Menu and it was delicious, fresh and gourmet. I recommend this venue for your event needs. Dina from Dina's Deluxe Events, Los Gatos, CA

I am a world traveler, and the Lafayette Park hotel is as good as any hotel. I have stayed at on the planet and I stay at nice hotels. I have skin allergies and they are mindful of those. Everything is well appointed and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend!

The rooms and overall grounds are beautiful and clean. Biggest regret is not staying longer because we didnt have an opportunity to really enjoy the facility. Arrived late at night and left after breakfast. ||The beds were very comfortable. Room was spacious.

My room was spacious with a nice view of the courtyard. There was a lovey wedding there on Sunday which my room overlooked. The ceiling was sloped, large bathtub and mid-range bedding. The fixtures were dated, walls and furniture had normal wear and tear from use. The main desk lamp outlets were loose and if used the wires came out of the socket. That was a little scary but obvious enough I did not use them. Felt like the price and location should have provided nicer linens, toiletries and amenities. The housekeeping was excellent. Room service was somewhat awkward at times, possibly due to new staff. The restaurant totally uninspired, pricey and basic. Multiple times I ordered tea, eggs and a bagel for breakfast and the tray came without any sweeteners or salt and pepper. I hate to say it ruined my breakfast but I really don't like eggs with no salt and tea with no sugar. Would love to find a true luxury retreat in this area but I'm still looking. I'll be back if I find nothing better but I'll be sure to request salt, pepper, sweeteners and anything else not listed on the menu but required for a meal.

We enjoyed our stay but it wasn't perfect and so I can only give an average of 4 out of 5 stars. Reasons for a less than perfect rating: 1. AC in main hotel areas (including hallways) did not work. The thermostat said 86 degrees when I checked. It was unbearable go walk around the hotel. 2. The location is right on the street and so there really aren't any nice views. Our view was of a side wall, fence, and the street and freeway. 3. We had the largest suite on property and we still didn't have a bath tub. Just a shower. 4. Empty fridge. No honor bar. 5. Pool service was pretty bad. Sweet girl but she was clueless when it came to service. At one point, she disappeared for 30 min and at a time when we needed her most. 6. Auto gratuity at the pool. 7. Hostess at front of restaurant was very unfriendly and she was openly talking badly about a call in customer to another staff member, right in front of me! 8. Valet literally ran away when we arrived at the front to check in. As a result, we had to bell hop our own luggage. 9. No valet but they charge a ton for self parking. $25. 10. Terrible accounting approach. Our bill was all wrong, and confusing, in so many ways. 11. They have a no guest policy for their pool, which makes no sense since the hotel is in a small town. They should allow guests at the pool. 12. The pool is located at the back of the property and it doesn't get much air flow. The sun also hits the pool hard. The result is that the pool gets too hot in the afternoons.

My stay at Lafayette Hotel in California was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail. The lobby was inviting and well-maintained, setting the tone for a wonderful visit. The views from my room were simply breathtaking. Whether it was overlooking the city skyline or enjoying a glimpse of the serene surroundings, each view was a treat for the eyes. It truly added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. The room itself was comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The furnishings were modern and stylish, creating a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What stood out most was the impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel. Every corner seemed spotless, which gave me peace of mind during my stay. The staff at Lafayette Hotel were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. Their professionalism and warmth made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Lafayette Hotel and would love to return. It's a perfect choice for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and scenic place to stay in California. I highly recommend it and look forward to my next visit.

Nice room, great staff, room service never called back twice over an hour so I was late for spa services and missed several; but they helped me reschedule the last one at least before leaving. Finally got my order in and fed, so eventually win. Glad again that I had the time to slice my schedule. I just made it work but it hit awkward for a good bit there. No bell captain- disabled and took my own bags up to my room :-/. Upon check-in, the gal said she had another emergency but at least gave me my key. Slept fine. I’d try it again, and if it’s a repeat, I’ll reduce the rating. For now, nice staff = benefit of the doubt.

Very good food. Nice atmosphere and customer service as well. Definitely try their empanadas. The prices are a bit high for a casual place that doesn't use waiters, but the food is worth it. Expect to pay $10-15 per person.
