Very welcoming, the bed was firm and the sheets were super comfy, probably the best eggs I've ever had seriously!
The Lady Anne is our favorite place to stay in Northern California. The hosts, Sam and Sharon, are delightful people that make our stay such a great experience every time. The house is an authentic Victorian home, with every bit of the charm and history you’d expect and hope for. Morning breakfasts are fantastic and interesting conversation is always on the menu. If you’re staying in Arcata, The Lady Anne is something you must experience.
My family stayed in 2 rooms (Sun and Blue rooms) in July 2023 and had a wonderful stay. They are (currently) past any Covid restrictions and are serving a full breakfast (we had quiche, pancakes, fresh fruit, and coffee/tea).||||The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the house is delightful. Sam and Sharon were very welcoming and helpful - we ate dinner at The Plaza Grill which they recommended, which was great!
I stayed here years ago and loved it. The innkeepers are super nice, the location is perfect. Treat yourself and support wonderful locals by staying here!
Probably the nicest place in Arcata. Featuring the most classic of Victorian architecture the rooms a spacious. Service is excellent and the location provides great views of Humboldt Bay and an easy walk to Cal Cal Poly. It's in a quiet neighborhood with parking.
Lovely, cozy, and great location! Our room was nice and the bed was so comfortable. Clean and decor was charming. The breakfast was delicious every morning (stayed for 3 nights) and our hosts were nice, helpful and very welcoming. Definitely a gem and would recommend staying here.
We loved our five day stay at this beautifully furnished and maintained Victorian. The thermostatically-controlled gas "wood stoves" in many rooms are a cozy feature. We had "the Sun Room" and it lived up to its name. Sharon and Sam are welcoming hosts. "Wildberries" market, a five minute walk, has a great coffee bar and deli serving hot and cold meals.
We stayed one night in the Blue room in this wonderfully restored home from the 1800's.||Our hosts Sam and Sharon were wonderful. The floors were creaky, like any home of this age, so as early risers we tried to be quiet and not wake other guests. At breakfast they admitted that they had not heard us. The garden is beautiful and the porch overlooking them was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine||||Breakfast was typical English style and was very good. Sam offered advice for our visit to the Redwood Forest which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.
I really appreciated the opportunity to immerse myself in this 200 hour yoga teacher training. It provided an opportunity to disconnect from work and dive into the content. The yoga instruction and approach of this training was exactly what I hoped f
Perfect place for lunch! The best food. The best homemade tortillas! Wow! Yum! Burritos are huge! They are awesome if you have special orders (like no dairy). My order is always perfect!
Our airbnb host recommended this place because we asked for local food spots and he delivered! We love creperies and this place was the bee's knees. My fiance got the artichoke heart-filled "Got Yer Goat" and I got "Amber Rose." Mine was a safe choic
The cutest ice cream shop I have ever been in! They have an incredible table that's on a swing. You can sit at it with up to four adults and enjoy your ice cream while swinging! They also have the sweet single carousel ride for youngsters. Local phot
