A beautiful casual walk following the impressive Lachute river. Fun for learning about the history of this spot.
Nice scenic and historic trail going up to Lake George from the village of Ticonderoga.
Great walk along a historic river, the route from Lake George to Lake Champlain.
A great walk hidden in downtown Ticonderoga.
This was a gorgeous little walk while my husband and I were on vacation. Only a 20 minutes drive from where we were staying and we were looking for some time to kill. My only regret was not having my bathing suit on me!! I’m not sure if you’re supposed to jump in but where it’s safe it looked so refreshing!! We would definitely go back to this spot and use some of the workout equipment along the trail.
Little place to ramble mostly. Meets up with river several times and also exercise equipment that seemed old, and a nice little playground for the little at the end. Also a museum at the end. The kids had a lot of fun near the river in the beginning, watching sticks go down etc. The water rushing down the waterfalls (some manmade) were impressive!
Path is paved and interesting in the exercise station section of the trail. Nice place for a family picnic. Path is a gravel road behind houses for most of the rest. You can easily find a better three mile stroll up in these parts.
Gorgeous trailway and park overlooking LaChute waterfall. There is a playground with modern equipment. The trailways are mostly level, so it affords a comfortable hike.

Great place to learn about the history of Ticonderoga. Most people usually associate it with the pencil. But thereâs so much more here, including the paper mill, graphite, etc. The museum has history on the Dixon Graphite company, the paper mill
If could give this place 10 stars I would. I recently had reservations to stay two nights at this sweet little motel for an event at Silver Bay Conference Center. Not only was the location ideal and only 18 minutes from the event, but it was in a cut
Lovely little local diner with great service and good food Recommended if you are in the area :) I ordered a ham&cheese omlet-very generous portion comes with a lovely homemade biscuit, sweet potato fries ( the staff were super nice and allowed me to
