This is a great little park. It has a nice picnic area and playground area for kids. They also have a bathroom (biffi) available onsite as well. They have some nice little walking paths and you can even go down to the waterline and fish or watch scuba divers.
The park is nice. The fishing..... used to be a lot better. This place is stressed out. Nothing but small sunfish. Your lucky to catch anything else.
Our 1 yr old granddaughter loves the play ground.
Dropped in the canoe for a nice paddle around this lake. It was much quieter than another nearby option. A short, paved downhill walking path from the parking lot (1 min.) gives easy access to drop in. Enjoyed it!
Great park with excellent mix of paths and woods and play areas.
It's too bad that the area beneath the park is completely closed off to do any shore fishing. The Dock wasn't usable at all. I remember as a kid it was such a great place to fish.
Its a little great spot to go for a BBQ or a run around the area. You can go down to the lake for a swim or to even get on your boat. The people are really friendly here also. Great spot!

Beautiful city park. Very well maintained. Apple valley city council takes great care of the park. Dog friendly. Very much family friendly. Beautiful to see kids playing in the splash pad ( during summer ) and in the plays sets throughout the year. T

Great park, it has just about everything you would want. Quiet, secluded, with a lot of amenities. I've seen deer there, it's so much fun to hang out at this park. The disc golf course is both fun and challenging.

I definitely give them 10/10 for the broth of Pho, very tasty and authentic. Friendly and welcoming staffs. Definitely will come back to try all of their menu. Highly recommend to try out their buns, pho, and vietnamese coffee.
