First I want to know the good things. The customer service was amazing. We informed them that it was our first time there and they made their recommendations which we decided on, ordering the avocado toast and chicken and waffles. Our kiddos got the pancake kids plate and they were even kind enough to sub an omelette at no additional charge, instead of scrambled eggs. We got also ordered 2 coffees and 2 orange juices for the kids, and when we were brought all our food, thought we had to still wait on the OJ but after about 10mins into our meal, I went back to the counter to ask and they told me “oh it’s the ones in the fridge,” which I didn’t know, but no biggie, they were kind about it. The food was good but was lukewarm and not hot and a bit pricey for the serving size. My avocado toast had a very small spread, in which I’m used to a thick spread. I think this cafe has the potential to be something more because our coffee was delicious, the boys loved their kids breakfast plates and their is very friendly. All in all, we spent about $90 for a family of 4 breakfast which was the same amount we spent at a Riverwalk restaurant with margaritas for dinner.

Quick and Yummy Breakfast Tacos! Just a short walk upstairs from the Riverwalk, La Villita Cafe has plenty of seating, reasonable prices, and fast service. ☕ I ordered the Sausage and Egg Breakfast Taco and the Brisket and Egg Breakfast Taco; the brisket was a little too salty for a breakfast taco, but they were both tasty with the salsa. 🌮 There's a variety of coffee beverages, water, and juices, as well. 🥤

Awesome breakfast spot near the river walk. Friendly service, good food and a very cute place. Must try if you are in San Antonio.

This cafe is nestled in one of the most charming and historical parts of downtown San Antonio. As a former employee at this I can attest to the consistency of quality food and service provided by the owner Barry and his staff. Was a pleasure and a privilege to come in as a guest and simply enjoy the food and fresh mimosas. The cafe manager Leslie runs a tight ship so the service was expedient and far exceeded expectations.

Went to San Antonio for my birthday and wanted a good breakfast. This place did not disappoint. It’s literally a hidden gem on the river walk. The line was long but moving. Every person working was polite. There was a gentleman walking around asking everyone if they needed anything and making sure us people in line were aware of specials. Had to be the owner or manager. Whomever, he was very nice. We got our food I had the French Toast Special and my boyfriend had the Breakfast brisket sandwhich. Both were amazing we kept taking a bit of each others plate. Definitely wouldn’t mind a brisket French toast special (wink wink). Honestly will be my go to breakfast spot when visiting San Antonio again. 20/10 highly recommended

We discovered La Villita Cafe and were very happy we did. A very casual restaurant with a large variety of really good food. The service is super friendly and quick. The food is served quickly and the portions are quite large. This is a really neat restaurant for breakfast or lunch.

UPDATE TO BELOW REVIEW: the owner reached out to me and did refund me the full amount of ticket. The food was way over priced and poor quality. I got the avocado breakfast and it tasted like the avocado was old and not fresh. My son ordered the Alamo Benedict which was suppose to come with either ham or bacon, he got none. My daughter’s brisket, well it tasted like it was seasoned with smoke flavor seasoning and was not really smoked. Our food was also served cold. We paid $55 for trash that we could have bought ourselves and prepared and tasted better and better quality. I was going to say something, but there was another couple who asked for a refund due tot heir food being served cold while me and my kids watched on. They would not give him a refund and instead told them to Call the owner. I will never eat at this place again. Save your money and go somewhere else.

If I could give this spot ten stars I would! Adorable little trailer with treats and great coffee. The lavender syrup was a perfect addition to my iced coffee. The barista was so kind and knew everyone’s name. Definitely the kind of place I want

This place was really cool. The cocktails were amazing. The Sin+Tonic is exceptional. We had the smores as a snack while we enjoyed our cocktails, and the atmosphere was so chill and fun. I would say this is a great place to stop on a Saturday night

Fourth time here. We obviously always have a blast. It’s a great activity for children and adults to play together. And as an adult, we’re having just as much fun as the kids. Parking is usually pretty easy too. Highly recommend!
