This is a little minimalist cafe in an interesting part of Detroit. I got the DEM latte, which was prepared with latte art, very appreciated! It was pretty good, a little foamy but pretty flavorful. I also got a chocolate chip cookie because that was the only thing they had to offer for pastries, I asked for it to be warmed up and it took over 10 minutes and it came back still pretty hard. The service was okay. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t come back but it’s a pretty nice little quiet space to get work done.
For Detroiters looking for their new favorite coffee spot, your search is over. This place is nothing like any of the local shops, easily one of the most beautiful coffee shops in Michigan. Coffee is excellent would recommend the DEM latte (their spin on a brown sugar latte)
Lovely little cafe by Eastern Market area. The veggie galette and my iced latte were both tasty, the baristas were friendly, and the music was perfect coffeeshop vibes. Will def be back!
Our favorite spot in Detroit. Whether it’s a quick run in to grab a coffee, have a business meeting or just spend a slow Sunday it’s always consistent. Clean atmosphere, impeccable coffee, warm environment, staff is knowledgeable and kid and community friendly. If you’re new to the city, visiting or a regular I’d give La Ventana a 10/10 every time.
This place is a good place to meet a friend before walking over to the Eastern Market.
It is set up well to hang out by yourself and work. It's a very clean modern feel.
Easily the best coffee shop in Detroit. Clean, pleasant, open and airy. Plus exceptional coffee and service. If you’re lucky they will have rather nice pastries too. Actually, it’s better than pretty much any other coffee shop outside of Detroit as well. I wish more coffee shops were like this place. Well done!
My husband and I headed down to Eastern Market on a Saturday and it was beyond crowded so we walked our pups across the Market to Gratiot Ave and found the hidden gem that is Le Ventana Cafe. They have a chill covered patio and the cafe interior is fresh & bright. Since it was warm out we ordered two iced drinks and tried the breakfast burrito’s. I got an iced chai & veggie egg burrito and my husband had a dem latte & sausage burrito. The drinks were really well made, the barista precisely measures their homemade demerara syrup which had a nice but light sweet flavor to it (not at all overly sugary), so I can tell there’s a lot of thought put into the quality. Our burritos were so good! The wrap was perfectly grilled and the filling was really well balanced, one of the best burritos we’ve had.
We will definitely be back and I love that it’s near an entrance to the Dequinder cut so next time we can take drinks to go and walk down to the waterfront.
Loved our experience! The shop is minimalist simple decor. The latte was definitely high caliber. We will go again when in town!
Such a cute coffee shop hidden in Detroit that I found on my last day in the city. Amazing cinnamon roll and avocado toast and each drink comes with a handwritten message!! Will definitely be back
This place is quite the hidden gem! Best cocktails in Detroit. Delicious coffee. The atmosphere is so cozy and beautifully styled. The service is absolutely stellar here- thank you so much to Alec for taking such great care of us on our anniversary!
It was giving cozy, homey vibes. ð Very peaceful & chill. There are games on the table: chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe. I had a banana nut muffin: yummy & moist. I also had the caramel bourbon coffee: exquisite. Iâll definitely be returning. Love
Really cool place. The staff were very courteous. They have whole bean coffee and some merch. The cheesecake desserts, cookies, and muffins are great. I had the eggnog cheesecake, which was amazing. My wife had a chocolate cookie that they warmed up.
One of my favorite coffeeshops in detroit. Yummy drinks and rotating selection of quality local sweets. I love having a coffee in the sprawling spot lite. There's good energy and people drawn to this place.
Stumbled on this gem on google and I was not disappointed! They have this vegan pizza thatâs delicious. The coffee is just ok. There is a record shop next door and they keep the attached door open as they play records from the shop themselves. Grea

Great concept and use of space. Fragrance shop during the day and cocktail bar at night. They match the flavours of the cocktails with their signature scents which is a pretty cool idea. The cocktails we tried were all great and they did work well wi

French cow is really a gem of the Eastern Market. If you live in or near Detroit, breakfast or brunch at the French Cow at the Eastern Market (in Shed 5) is really a treat. It is my go to on a Saturday morning at the Market.

Went in close to them closing and they were amazing! Didn't seem to bother them one bit. We tired a few different flavors before picking the one we wanted. The coffee was also just as amazing as the gelato.
