La Quinta Inn Chicago Matteson - Featured Reviews (117)
There was a dirty towl left on the bathroom door and several bars of used old soap in the shower on the shelf. The outlet by the sink was barely usable due to the the plug constantly falling out of it because it was bad not to mention it tripping. We only stayed one night so we made the best of it. The staff at the front desk were at least polite. Would I stay there again? I would probably say no.
Decent for the price... But definitely not the nicest la quinta I've been to. Hallways and elevators were visibly dirty. I was satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms... But everything else left for something to be desired. The continental breakfast was very minimal. If I were to come back to the area, I'd probably look for a different hotel. But, like I said... Can't complain much for the price.
The staff are friendly, but this is an old, poorly maintained hotel. It reminds me more of a Red Roof Inn than a La Quinta Inn...overall the important part for me is that the bed was comfortable! Although the lady that checked us in seems lovely, this hotel is poor compared to others in the chain. I booked an Executive King room. The photos I have posted are for this room, I have not seen any others in the hotel and cannot comment on those 😃 As other reviewers have mentioned, this place reeks like old cigarettes top to bottom.
This is a pretty bad place to stay. Mold in the ceiling. Urine smell in the rooms. Overall cleanliness is pretty low. There are a lot of staff that are staying here and like to hang out in the lobby late into the night. So if you're on the first floor you can hear everyone partying and it pretty much keeps you awake. So if you have to stay here, it's important to get a room above the 1st floor. Additionally the people that smoke, do so directly outside the door so the smell runs throughout the hallway. I give this place a 1 out of 5 stars. Just avoid it if you can, there's a Holiday Inn right next door; perhaps it's better.
Staying here for a couple of nights for work. Lots of construction, 1st room I went too had not been cleaned, 2nd room AC not functioning, finally got into a room after 1/2 hour run around. Staff are good. We have a corporate account and direct billing, and this is the first time we required a credit card for a $100 damage deposit at a La Quinta. Guy sleeping in parking lot in his car all afternoon and night is interesting.
We stay at La Quinta Inns all the time. This was our worst experience. They were doing some remodeling and they put us on the same wing that they were working on. All you could smell was paint. The hall was very dirty. The front desk people were very unfriendly sitting around the corner at a computer. They never greeted or asked how our stay was when checking out. The continental breakfast was bad. All carbs. No fruit, boiled eggs or yogurt. The peanut butter was rancid. The air conditioner was barely functioning and the towel rack was broken off. I understand that they remodeling but I shouldn't have had to spend top dollar for this room. Come on La Quinta !!!
They were renovating the hotel the weekend my son and I stayed there. Outside of the new look my stay was immediately ruined, because I had to submit a deposit of $100. Now if we would have known this in the beginning, we have known this before booking the reservation. I have never stayed in a hotel where I needed to pay deposit and wait until they checked the room before my deposit was refunded. Give your customers all the information before they book the room.
First off, it wasn't a "bad" experience. Did it suffice? Yes. But here's why I'm giving it two stars: The whole hotel STANK like smoke. I have a newborn...and our "non-smoking" room had been smoked in. The top bed cover was either stained or (most likely) unwashed for multiple guests. Fixtures were falling apart and the walls/carpet/curtains looked like they've been used by meth labs for a few years. No apparent signs or advising by staff of pool/fitness center/media room and it was too ghetto for me to look around for one. It was THE WORST La Quinta I've ever stayed in.

Very nice loop in the nature preserve. Lots of parking with various offshoots into the community. Good for running, walking, and biking. There is a porta-potty at the start. Very nice folks on the trail. Saw a deer as well.

First time going to a Culver's and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. I believe I got the bacon deluxe with fries. I also got a chocolate milkshake. All three items were very good and I will definitely try to locate Culver's in Northeast Ohio.
