La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Savannah Midtown - Hotel in Savannah - 6805 Abercorn St, USA

The rooms smells funny. When we walked in everything was unplugged. The carpet is dirty. Beds are clean. But one was firm and the other was super soft. Why the inconsistencies? Ac works great. The bathroom door didn't click shut so it stayed cracked. The walls and doors need to be wiped down.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Place is very sketchy and dirty!! Roaches, bad smells, dirty sheets and disgusting bathroom. They charged me $50 extra for my dog because she wasn’t identified as service or emotional support. They do not have to be identified- it’s the law. A doctors note should be more than enough. Did not feel safe at all. Ended up just staying somewhere else for the second night even though I booked it for the weekend. 0/5.

Do not stay here. This is the worst hotel and shouldn't be in the Wyndham line. We found fecal matter and stains rubbed into all of the carpet. There were both dead and live bugs running across the floor. There are black handprints all over the doors and walls. The television didn't work at all. The pool water was a deep pond green. We should have left, but we were too tired. There were The Savanah Health Department is currently inspecting this place.

It was not a good stay. everything seemed to be very unorganized. The cleanliness was poor. The staff was not helpful at all. repairs need to be made, in order to improve the quality of customers comfort levels. Water should not be backing up in the shower. The tub floor should not be corroded, or at least not have that appearance. The curtains should not look molded. House keeping should be available to clean the rooms. Clean wash rags and towels should be available.

I have used Wyndham Hotels for years and am a Platinum Rewards member. I generally find La Quinta to be the best of their brands. Unfortunately, the Midtown location in Savannah is far from their usual standard. The outside of the property looked great, as did the interior of the lobby. Unfortunately, once we got to the stairs/hall up to the second floor where our room was, and then our room, were horrible. The stairs up to the 2nd floor were filthy and had holes in the carpet. The carpet on the 2nd floor lobby were filthy and, even after the cleaning crew had come through, still had loose garbage left on the floor. When we opened the door to our room, we were immediately hit with the smell of marijuana smoke. While I understand that the staff can't control visitors breaking the rules, the room should have been sanitized before renting it out again. Inside the floors were so disgustingly filthy that neither of us took our sandals off during our stay. When we walked across the room into the tiled sink area our shoes left dirty footprints!!!! At that point we knew to keep shoes on. The shower was leaking heavily to the point that, even with the door closed, it kept us up during the night. In addition, the tub didn't drain and, during a 10 minute shower, we ended up with water over our ankles. While the outside of the property and location are nice, and the staff was helpful, I would avoid this location unless you absolutely need to stay here.

We arrived late Friday night and we're very tired. We were give room 232. As we entered the room, we noticed how stained the carpet was all throughout. With further inspection, the bath tub was stained black, the toilet had a grey ring in the bowl, there was blood splatter on the wall near the flood and drops of blood in the carpet near the closet. There was white splatters near every light switch on the lamps. The light switch near the front door did not turn on any lights. We told the men at the front desk. They then proceeded to put us in room 222. This room was a little bit cleaner the carpet was still terribly stained. The tub was not black. However the AC did not work in this room so we had to be moved again. They moved us to room 206 and this one was just as bad as the first room The tub was black the carpet was stained. We also had our toddler with this and we did not feel comfortable having him stay at this hotel. The next day we rode by and they had removed one of the mattresses from the roomand laid it against the wall outside and there was blood all over the mattress. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a disgrace to the La Quinta name. Blood on the walls of your room is the biggest no no... the ceiling was caving in 2 different spots, the was a fitted sheet covering the couch. The bed had stains all over it. The bathroom look like someone died in it. We did not stay. I wouldn't even put my bags down. We took pictures and left. The carpet look like someone died on it. I mean come o. With as many bad reviews as this place has you would think something would be done about it. How do you run a business successfully when it looks like this.

Positive: This hotel and its staff was by far the absolute worst. The room was absolutely filthy, not suitable to be stayed in. It was utterly disgusting. It looked like it had not been cleaned in months! I had to go by cleaning supplies to clean it with! Negative: The Manager on duty did not care that my room was disgusting nor did he offer to have it cleaned. He was quite rude! He did tell me I was welcome to TRY to get a refund but it wasn?t always possible.
