La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cleveland Independence - Hotel in Independence - 6161 Quarry Ln, USA

The hotel is located in a business office area and excellent location off the highway. Leaping lizard Restaurant located 50 ft from hotel. Otherwise limited selection of restaurants. Hotel was clean. Bathroom is tight and vanity mirror is very bright. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. They gave us a room on the 1st as requested. I would stay here again. But it was concerning when we drove up and there were 5 police cars outside along with a swat truck, the person at the front desk indicated a guest was having issues. We were on 1st floor so I assume the person was on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Police were there for several hours and then at 10pm the fire alarm went off when someone was smoking in the hall( not verified info). We decided to stay at least for the night and found the following 2 nights were uneventful. Hotel does accept pets(dogs). Luckily the small yapping dog next to us was quiet all night.|Perfect location to Cleveland without the high cost of a hotel room.

This hotel was delightful! The staff was very friendly, they gave us a blanket to keep warm when the others had stains! Conveniently located next to numerous restaurants. The room was top-notch, the bathroom vent was kept clean with dust, and the beds were a little smaller than in the photos, but saving materials worked too!! Breakfast staff was efficient in this area, including a waffle maker. The fruit loops were amazing! (but stale) The electrical outlets were a fire hazard, but they couldn't get around to everything! Overall, it was a delightful 10/10 experience. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and seemed recently renovated. Staff was gracious. The location is generally convenient but for us coming in from the ohio erie canal towpath by bike it involved a super long hill and then riding a very busy higher speed road followed by a very steep hill. Not their fault but not ideal after riding 55 miles.

Rooms are a nice size, not too small, plenty of room. Having the ability to go get breakfast in the morning was also awesome. Coffee available all the time was a plus for the late nights. Housekeeping staff was the sweetest, front desk staff was great. only complaints was the TV brightness was too dark (or it was me, I'm not sure) and the Internet was spotty but that's to be expected with a hotel and a shared network. I made that work. Overall, I enjoyed my time.

Hotel has been recently remodeled. The rooms are comfortable. It was nice to have USB ports on the lamps by the bedside. The towels are very soft and large . It was nice to have a shower separate from the sink . The beds were comfortable the good choice of pillows. The chair at the desk was comfortable.

This place is up on a hill so parking is limited to cars and trucks I would not recommend this hotel with Semis.. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on the other hand rooms are very dated and need major maintenance work done. Pillows kept falling apart and feathers ended up all over the room. There was a small leak in the bathroom and the tolet was mismatched and the seat only had one screw holding seat down. A little scary when it would move aside to side... Lol...

It is an older hotel and shows its age. Staff was nice. Our TV did not work, along with outlets on the one wall. Staff apologized and let us move into another room. The carpet felt better in our new room, but still was very old. I don't think we would choose this hotel again. Location was close to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

We have stayed at this location 4x and it was great! Comfortable beds, nice clean rooms and space, and the staff has been very nice and help even remember when I stayed a few weeks prior to this stay! Coffee is good and when I have to come to Cleveland Clinic I will stay here! They also give a discount for those that have appointments at the hospital. TV channels are limited but Netflix is available!
