I'd like to start with our check-in. The receptionist seemed to be in a very horrible mood, we weren't welcomed and she was very slow completing tasks. The only time she smiled at us was at one in the morning when we came back from the hard rock. When we entered our room on the top floor it was muggy and uncomfortable because the setting on the thermostat which we lowered immediately. The hallways and stairwells were very hot (the stairwells felt like 90 degrees). On a better note, the hotel looked very nice, clean, welcoming lobby, the decor was inviting, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough but not the best I've had. The hotel smelled very nice and I enjoyed the colors throughout. We didn't get the opportunity to try out the pool or hot tub but those are available. The breakfast had many options and was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. We also enjoyed that breakfast was from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. so we could sleep in and still have the opportunity to get something to eat for free. Overall, our stay was pretty great and I'd recommend to family, friends or anyone else.

Lots of huge pillows. Fitness room open until 11pm and indoor pool open until 10pm. The staff was so friendly. They has a good free breakfast. The lobby was very appealing with a fireplace and comfortable inviting chairs. At night it look like a good place for adults to lounge around with a bar and grill.

I had high hopes for this property. From all online appearances this property looked promising. It is in a great location- close to the Hard Rock Casino and places to eat. However, the management of this property isn’t doing a great job. The property has trash everywhere and dog poo ( bad owners! ) everywhere. When we checked in we were assigned a room that had multiple barking dogs without an owner, when my husband complained, he had to argue with the front desk person. We were switched to a quieter room, we prepaid the $25 pet fee. But upon checkout we found that we were charged twice, the front desk person in the morning updated our folio.||After checking in, the room was pretty much ok and quiet. Cleanliness does not seem to be a priority as the stairwells were dirty and had spilled food on the stairs. The side door was propped open and not secure, the posted checkout time is noon, the housekeeper knocked on our door at 10:45 and said she was there to clean the room. I tried to explain that checkout is at noon, she argued with me and said 11 and asked if we were staying over, I reiterated that checkout was at noon, I went to the front desk and explained the situation to the very unhappy young lady that the housekeeper was trying to make us leave, she said she would take care of it.||Breakfast was a disaster. Burned ham, out of coffee, eggs, whipped cream and strawberries. While guests were trying to navigate breakfast, the uniformed staff was enjoying breakfast.||Such a sad experience, we were in Dallas 4 days prior at the Drury and felt like we were welcomed there. This place we were simply an annoyance.

The property is clean and safe. The room was very clean, renovated, and the bed great. The check in process was quick and easy. The front desk staff are amazing.

I stayed here for 2 nights for work and it was probably one of the worse La Quintas I have stayed at. The front desk staff were not very friendly and seemed to really hate their job. In fact when I checked in, the girl who was working the desk did not ask for a credit card for incidentals, which i thought was very strange. The room was clean but in need of some updating, especially the bathroom. It was very dark and I had to turn on the hallway light in order to have enough light to get ready in the mornings. The breakfast was sufficient but still pretty disappointing, especially the coffee. It was terrible, definitely could tell it was made by someone who doesn't drink coffee. One plus was the location to the casino, where I was attending a conference, as well as being close to the highway. Overall i would probably choose one of the other hotels in the area if you are going to be staying in the area.

Location was great. Room was very clean and lots of space. Room service left something to be desired. Asked for service twice and never got anything done. Would stay again but would be at front desk in person to make sure got the room serviced.

The receptionist was very friendly. I threw a little surprise party for my boyfriend and I made sure that it was okay with the receptionist that we had a couple of friends up in the room to do a suprise for him before heading off to hardrock. They were very nice and understanding and gave us permission. I will Definitely be staying here again! The room was a little small and a little misleading by the pics but overall it was clean and I can’t complain about it! . The only CON…. Was that check out is not until 12 & the cleaning lady’s came by our room to see if we were checking out or staying another night. That is something that they should have In their system that tells them the answer. I let Them know we are checking out at 12. Luckily I was Already up and around. But if I would Of been asleep and they woke me up at 9 just to ask me if I was Checking out or staying again I would Of been pissed 🤣 DONT KNOCK ON THE DOOR AND ASK A QUESTION YOU HAVE THE ANSWERS TOO. Especially 3 hours before check out time. Not very professional.

This property is doing everything right. Our room was clean and perfect. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was very good (gravy tastes homemade) and the hospitality is excellent. We are very glad we chose this property. You won’t regret it

Unique place. Would never expect something like this just out side of town near the port. The pros: the bluff trail is beautiful and a must see. If you like a challenging but short hike, this is perfect. There is a level and easy stretch of boardwalk
