La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Roanoke Salem - Featured Reviews (919)
We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express but had Wyndham Rewards Points to use. It was every bit as nice. Looked recently renovated. Nice breakfast but not as many choices as HIE. Would gladly stay again. The pool looked nice and clean but we did not use it. Employees were very nice.
On the way to Pigeon Forge, TN. This motel is easy on and off the interstate. Check-in was very easy. Luggage cart at the front door made moving our clothes, etc. to the second floor easy. We used their laundry and that was efficient. Our room was huge with nice seating, unique furniture, plenty of electric plugs, superb wifi, comfy bed. Staff was rather standoffish.
Very clean exterior and interior of the hotel. Front desk staff friendly, glad to see you and helpful. Easy off and on I-81. Room spacious, the king size bed very comfortable. Big screen TV that even had a laminated TV guide listing on one side and area restaurants on the other. Haven’t seen that before at other La Quinta’s.
Positive: What I like best about the hotel was the shower and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers. That was very convenient though. It would have been more convenient if they actually had wash clothes. Negative: Online pictures made the pool look much bigger. It was tiny and freezing cold and the water was suspiciously cloudy. Breakfast area was tiny and the food is mediocre.
Perfect midway stop on our way home to the Germantown/Memphis TN area. Rooms are always clean and have nice fluffy towels with Dove products to wash & shampoo with. It makes our night there relaxing. Breakfast is hearty. Waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, milk, tea or coffee are always available. Mac & Dan's is our favorite place for dinner!
The Rooms are be very tiny here, especially the bathroom. For two people it’s fine but with a family of four, we were cramped. Blankets had stains on them. We called for extra pillows because they were so small and had no support, and were told they didn’t have any.
Our fridge didn’t cool even on the highest setting. We had to use bags of ice in a cooler to keep food and drinks warm that we were traveling with.
Breakfast was okay, the standard free breakfast usually offered. There was a line at the waffle machine so we couldn’t use it without waiting 15-20 minutes.
Clean, comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was great... water pressure was forceful and there were plenty of towels provided. Breakfast was adequate. Overall, this was a good place to stay and I would stay here again.
The room was very clean, passed the black light test, the only thing that I found was the phone, it was filthy. The TV settings were off and shrunk the screen to 2/3 of its size. 1/2 the normal channels were blocked. The bed was a bit firm for my taste. Breakfast was okay, I love the waffles eggs The texture was too fluffy. But I really enjoyed my stay, The staff was very nice and professional.

E3 has given me something different, I have always worked out and generally hung out in the power lifting realm. This is totally different but Iâm taking baby steps towards growing in this functional, full-body, and mind renewing fitness! I love th
Being retired from a career requiring 55-65 hour work weeks was somewhat difficult. I found myself needing something to do, so I got a part time job (20 hours a week) like so many other seniors. But, it wasn't all that fulfilling, as I found, I neede
The Salem Museum is a first class, local history site. They have modern, informative exhibits, friendly staff, a beautiful facility, and awesome programs. Be sure to check out the ghost tours and surround cemetery. A must visit while in Salem!
This park is a favorite of ours. There is no playground, but instead there is a river that is always fun for kids to throw rocks in. If the water level is lower it is great for swimming as well. There is a section of pavement that is great for runnin
Great place for karaoke, people are Uber friendly regardless of who you meet. Drinks are decent, service is on point. Food was good for bar food. If you come to play pool bring cash :)
