If I could leave zero stars I would. Upon check in i immediately noticed that the bathroom door didn’t lock. There were stain everywhere, black mold on the ceilings. The pool is trash, there’s a foul smell out there and the furniture is all ripped up and broken. Don’t even get me started on the “hot tub”. The next morning our toilet was clogged, when my sister called to the FD the agent Mary said that “we were more than welcome to come get a plunger.” My sister asked, do you not have a maintenance man? Mary responded with, “oh he’s not here. You said it’s clogged right? I’m sure it’s just toilet paper.” We did not get a plunger. We left the toilet as is. I work at a Forbes five start hotel, so I guess customer service means something a little different to me. We were displaced by the power outage as so many others were. All the hotels were sold out, so we stayed where we could. If I wanted to stay at a busted, broken down MOTEL that’s what I would’ve booked. Instead I payed for the same equivalence in this property. With the attitude of the front desk I didn’t even bother complaining. I can see where that would’ve gotten me. Absolutely no where. With the stress of my family and I already being displaced I didn’t have it in me to even argue about it. Never again though. This stay was absolutely atrocious!

Never go here. I called directly to the site before booking and was lied to about amenities, upon check in my room was changed because the staff thought I ‘might prefer’ another room. Electric was crazy, the carpet was soaked from AC drip. The best I can say is that there was actually AC, running water, and a lonely spider but no other visible vermin in the room. I know the typical clientele, and if a break from sleeping on your truck or rig is the goal, go for it. That wasn’t was I was looking for. If I could give negative stars I would.

Jackie at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and smelled great. The pool looked very well maintained, but I did not swim in it.

I would never stay at this hotel again. Brought my wife and kids to the Texas Strawberry festival. Got there and check in and all was good. Got to the third floor just for the elevator to open and it smelt stagnant and like trash. On to the room: I always peel back sheets to check for fleas or bedbugs and there was massive stains all over just covered up with protector, mold was all over the ceiling, only faucet in the room was bathroom sink and it leaked from base, water would leak from under the tub, tub drain was broke (wouldn’t be a big deal but with two little kids baths are easier) and the carpet was completely soaked from the AC leaking. Front desk was notified. Literally the whole third floor smelled like it was the same

Seriously one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The ceiling has mold that they just painted over. The pool smells so bad, and the restroom in the room was the worst. The bathtub was disgusting, when you flushed the toilet the water rose up to the top, but thankfully didn’t over flow. When I called the front desk, she said they have plungers downstairs. She said we can plunge it since it’s probably clogged with toilet paper. I asked why would we do it, isn’t that something maintenance does? She said they are off today. Don’t be bamboozelled by the 4 stars. This seriously should be a “no tell, motel”.

It was a little bit out of the way for our trip to Houston (about 30 minutes from downtown) but the place was over all nice. It looked newly renovated and very clean. The neighborhood it was by looked kind of sketchy but it was a good stay. The staff seemed a little bit to themselves but I one was rude. I overall liked the place and would stay there again.

Positive: The staff was really nice. The room was pretty clean. Negative: The overall look and experience was not at all what we were expecting. The keypad to our door was broken, the ac unit was broken/dirty, and the beds were hard as rocks.

GOOD -When I booked I noticed the check in time. I was coming in town for a Funeral & leaving first thing in the morning. I put in request for earlier check in. They were booked the night before. I called & let them know when I was 2 hours away. I arrived & Jessica was working the front desk. She said they had my room ready I had to get to the Funeral before 3:00 & had time to get ready. It was a big relief. I got up before 7:00 AM to leave. I didn't eat the breakfast bc I wanted to get on the road for my long trip home. Everything looked great - biscuits - eggs- Texas Waffles - cereal is what I remember seeing. BAD- I parked by the back door that is by the Pool. I tried using my room key to get in - it didn't open even though it was Green. I later saw someone from the Pool trying to get in & I went to open the door. The hairdryer did not work but they provided me with a Brand New One & said to leave it in the room bc they were replacing the old ones - SO ALL WAS GOOD. =)
