La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham NE Long Beach/Cypress - Hotel in Hawaiian Gardens - 12441 E Carson St, USA

We had an amazing experience during our stay. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The employees were kind and welcoming and the breakfast was a delicious way to start the day. It's location was perfect too. Only 20-30 minutes from Huntington Beach (if you're traveling with your fur baby Huntington Beach has a beautiful dog beach that my baby loved and the hotel is dog friendly), 15 min from Knotts Berry Farm, and an hour from Santa Monica Pier. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in town.

Breakfast was good, but I had better. Washers moldy and not clean, NO POOL only a jacuzzi but out of order. Small fitness center that most equipment was out of order. Hotel is a little worn down especially for the price I paid for.

My reservation was not honored, it was cancelled and couldn’t get my points in. As you enter the room, there’s a smell of urine so disgusting. The door wouldn’t lock, thank goodness for the deadbolt. We were not advised there was a deposit charge of $100, would’ve been great to know. The bed was comfortable and we had extra pillows in our room which is a plus, the cleanliness was ok. A few misses here and there, I just couldn’t get over the smell. The outlets didn’t work properly so I couldn’t charge my laptop properly when working. Service was ok, the front desk was neutral. Breakfast consist of eggs, sausage and taters. Accompanied by bagels, waffle and cereal. Overall a 5/10, will probably not return just because the room smells horrid.

The room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The toom was also very clean. The only problem was that the shower gel/body wash container in the shower was empty.

Loved the hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and we had a great stay here definitely would recommend if you’re traveling into LA

Do not stay here! Staff is not it, especially the cleaning lady ! They will take your money so quick! The fact they know she has a bad attitude is worse! It was a good stain & the lady was mad & snatching stuff! I told them & found out she told them to charge me? Excuse me? I’ve been to hotels where they clean blood stains without a charge! You just don’t like your job! Please stop it

Positive: The rooms are clean and decent size Negative: The 3rd floor room had an old TV system, and there were very loud noises from the upstairs at late night 2 am for 2 nights.

Very bad experience, I spent two days complaining about the smell of marijuana on the 4th floor without the management resolving the problem. Then a random guy walks into the hotel at 3am and activates the fire alarm, the management did not apologize or do anything to resolve it. Lousy breakfast and poor cleaning service in the room. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews, they’re probably employees.
