La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morgan City - Hotel in Morgan City - 2018 Allison St, USA

First was we were given hadn’t even been cleared out from the previous guest. The room we ended up with was nasty and run down. I have pictures. The bath soap was used. No telephone in the room. No shampoo. Found roaches. Beds were horrible. Uncomfortable and ragged. Towels were all stained. Just extremely NASTY

We’ve stayed here before but this time was awful. We get there and the hotel smells musty. And then the bathroom downstairs it out of order. So we quickly checked in so my kids could potty. We get up the elevator and it felt like a sauna. I’m assuming because the workers had the stairwell door just propped open to the outside. We get up to the room and the room smells like straight mold. Thankfully we were able to put the ac down to 60 so that helped with the heat. I needed extra pillows and there was no phone in the room to call the front desk. So I had to haul all three of my little kids downstairs to get that. We then get back to the room and I tried to give my kids a bath after ignoring how dirty it was and there was not a single towel in the room. So no baths. We will be switching hotels next time.

We visited this hotel for 1 night it was horrific. The room was a total disaster. The hotel had NO lamps or even a phone. There were also NO soap or towels to wash ourselves. there were only two pillows on a king size bed. The bed had no comforter. Curtains were used as a comforter. They also had no continental breakfast as promised. The staff was very nonchalant about the state of the room. They refused to fix any of the issures. This hotel needs to close until they have things together. I asked for a refund.

Don’t stay here. As soon as I checked in I was looking forward to leaving. They didn’t have any soap in the room, and when we asked about it they said they hadn’t received their delivery. Sounds like it’s been an ongoing issue. Room didn’t feel incredibly clean. Wifi was spotty. Free breakfast consisted of dry/old biscuits, bread to make toast, and bagels, but no cream cheese. There were cups of juice. That was something positive. The advertised free breakfast was definitely a neglected aspect of their services. Pay a few dollars more and stay somewhere else. I wish I would have.

Positive: Location Negative: Shower didn¿t work. Mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom. Rust in the bathtub. Tried to move to another room and was told they didn¿t have any. The flat sheet was on top of the blanket. No bath soap! Only a half tool of toilet paper. I could go on. Negative: ""

10 out of 10 definitely recommend. My husband and I have  had a wonderful experience at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Morgan City. Every staff member I encountered, from the head house keeper Mrs.Maria (who goes above and beyond to ensure you room is perfectly cleaned ) to the front desk were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues.

Oh my gosh, don’t just don’t!! We had 2 rooms for all of us and neither room was up to par. There was only one set of towels in both double rooms, the A/Cs kept cutting off, the sheets were dirty, the microwaves were both dirty, in the room we stayed in there was mold and a lot of dust on everything, There is a hole above the tub which apparently leaks, all of the “repair work” looks like a 5 yr old did it…..I have pics and videos to prove it, there was scum and mold in tub and on floor in bathroom like it hasn’t been mopped in months nor has the tub been cleaned the beds are hard as rocks, pillows were not even motel quality, breakfast was ok but there was no juices, no butter, biscuits were hard, only 2% milk which wasn’t a problem…..the lady working did get us more cream cheese when we asked. This particular hotel isn’t even old enough to need a whole remodel, but it does!!

lawd i regret starting here the roaches and dirt left here was absolutely disgusting & the hotel manager is even worse. i’m just surprised that i didn’t find any bedbugs. never stay here i am trying to save you. no soap in the bathroom & they get mad when you ask for toilet paper. just stay home at that point.
