La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Milwaukee Delafield - Hotel in Delafield - 2801 Hillside Dr, USA

Very nice, modern, clean lodging. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Appreciated having the pool, acceptance of our pet and the small fitness center. Much better quality than the same priced hotels from other chains. Always appreciate the free breakfast. It would have been nice to have oatmeal packets that were plain without added sweeteners. Raisins and nuts for oatmeal toppings would be a bonus. Only issue - we were in room 132 and I couldn't get the ironing board to stand up. We used it on the floor and the iron had a broken top to the water reservoir so water leaked out when using it.

We recently had a lovely stay at the La Quinta hotel, and I thought I’d share some of our experiences to help others considering a visit. First off, the hotel is really well-maintained, which was immediately noticeable from the clean, welcoming lobby to the beautifully groomed landscaping around the property. The grass and plants were well taken care of, making the whole environment feel serene and inviting. The staff at La Quinta were standout gems. Everyone was not just friendly, but genuinely enthusiastic about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Their attention to detail and eagerness to assist with any request really made a difference. We brought our dog along, and the pet-friendly approach here was evident. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into accommodating pets, from the treats at check-in to pet-friendly areas throughout the property. There were plenty of places to walk Marley, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our room was just what we needed: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The inclusion of a microwave and refrigerator was super convenient for managing snacks and cold bottled water. And, the TV was impressively large — a real plus for relaxing in the evening. Everything in the room was in working order, and the clean bathroom stocked with Dove body care products was an appreciated touch.

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Quiet location. Just enough amenities to make our stay comfortable. Fitness room was a nice surprise. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked. Would stay again.

This is a fine facility in which to stay while I attended classes. The lounge chair needs some adjustment and I’d prefer glass not cardboard cups. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The keycards need to be replace—they look rather worn. Smoking should not be allowed right outside the entrance door.

Room was very nice and comfortable for a one-night stay. Lobby was nicely set up and breakfast was good! One downside is having the bathroom vanity and sink outside of where the toilet and shower is. I would rather have a full bathroom behind one door. Otherwise, very nice hotel and I'm impressed on the upkeep.

We were very disappointed with the height of the toilet in our room. The company couldn't invest in taller toilets?? The van in the bathroom went on every time you flipped the switch in the bathroom. Was very loud. Couldn't you have a different switch for the fan?? Otherwise the room was fantastic. Breakfast bar kept up by the attendant on duty. Check in and out was good. Pool area was nice but it sure would of been nice if you made your customers that there are swimming lessons every afternoon sunday thru thursday from 4 to 7???

I am incredibly disappointed with the customer service I am receiving. I incorrectly booked a weekend trip and showed up and was told there was no availability and that they had no record of my booking at all - okay, fair enough that's my fault. I could have sworn I booked something though, and was assured by the associate at the desk (who double checked with a manager) that there was no reservation on the books with my name on it. I was confused, but assumed I just forgot to click reserve. Fast forward to a month later and I receive a text notifying me it's time to check in. I call immediately hoping to alert the staff so they could free up the room, realizing that the associate missed a future reservation (one that I would have cancelled obviously had she told me about it). I also then realize I was charged the full amount (over $400) already. I speak to someone explaining the situation and requesting a refund. They say they will speak to the manager and call me back. No one calls me back. 2 days later, I call again and speak to someone new who connects me with a manger. The manager then says they need to speak to the GM and that they will call me back. No call back... so the next day I call back. I'm put on hold and told that the GM refuses to speak to me or refund me. I request a phone number but am only given an email. I emailed the GM over 3 days ago now and have received no response, and I just tired calling the location again and got a dial tone. I'm incredibly frustrated and feel the management is handling this mistake in an unethical and non-customer service oriented way. I absolutely do not recommend booking your stay here and will continue to reach out until someone gets in touch with me to explain why I am not receiving any compensation when I was directly told by staff I was not on their books.

It was a terrible experience at the La Quinta Inn in Delafield. People who had reservations were told by front desk that t the hotel had overbooked and would not have a room for that night. There was garbage all over the place. Both inside and outside. The breakfast staff were trying to take care of the front desk customers.|Simply chaotic.
