La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lumberton - Hotel in Lumberton - 104 N Lhs Dr, USA

So, the room I was in, a king suite, the furniture was as everyone has said, stained and old, the bed linings was stained, the curtains had holes all in them, the shower had black mold on the roof, and the room smelt wet and molded. Now, I will say, had great hot water, ac worked great, and it was quiet, and I did sleep good. I feel like this hotel just needs a major remodel and update. It looks newer/updated outside. But definitely not inside. The ladies up front was very polite and helpful. I can't say I would really recommend this hotel, but I'm sure we'll stay again due to work and location.

Got into room. Seemed like the AC wasn't working as well as I thought it should. Manager Cheyenne Parr was super respectful and knowledgeable. She treated me with the most respect and got me moved into a room that was super clean and cold. Taken my hat off to that lady! If the owner reads this. Give Cheyenne a raise! She deserves a reward!! Thank you Cheyenne for your hospitality!!!

The staff were all very kind and helpful. Our room was not in good shape. The walls appear to have sort of water damage and black mold that is very obvious. The furniture dirty and damaged. The pillows and bed feel very worn in like they have never been replaced after many years of use. All 5 pillows were terrible. The curtains ripped. Overall the room was not what you’d expect after seeing the exterior and speaking with the staff. I do not believe the cleaning personnel are doing a bad job, but rather the guest rooms need deeper attention and remodeled. The employees are wonderful and we wish the property reflected their service. Would not stay again due to safety concerns of overall deep cleanliness and discomfort of bed/pillows.

Nice hotel. Its age is starting to show but everything was nice & clean. Excellent breakfast. Only complaint was the drapes couldn't be closed in the suite bedroom & the pool lights & reflection shone into the room. Then at 6:30 AM sunshine flooded into the room. This was not a problem with the regular rooms we have stayed in at this hotel.

Good breakfast, but only a specific amount of food was served. The breakfast was not only for guests but for employees, their family, their friends and their dogs! The room was clean and the employees. pleasant. We had requested a specific room number and that was not noted, but the room was available so that was okay.

The staff was friendly and respectful and made us feel like family. Rooms were clean and cool. Breakfast was great and hot. The gym was clean. They are pet friendly and as a whole floor just for people with pets. I would recommend staying here anytime if you are over in Lumberton Tx.

If you ever run into any issues please get into contact with the GM Angel!! She is amazing! I had issues that she resolved immediately. She was attentive to my concerns and really made me feel secure as a customer. We look forward to using this hotel again if ever in the area.

Positive: The staff called me because my son left his beloved toy. Negative: There were a lot of non guests drinking and not watching their kids at the pool and it was quite stressful.
