La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Lake George - Hotel in Lake George - 1533 US-9, USA

Booked at the same time as my friend through Expedia I had no issue with check-in, she did. Literally made her jump through hoops to get a room…which made me annoyed because we booked the same type of room at the same time. Finally she was checked in(young girl with dark curly hair and a blonde manager were both useless and cold). She ended up getting a room with two beds only. I spoke to another manager the next morning with long dark hair a bit older. She was great she apologized and got my friend moved to what I thought would be a room with three beds, but it was a two room suite with a kitchen no with 2 beds and a sofa bed. Sofa bed was not comfortable, but it was a nice room and my friend was happy with the service recovery. Rooms were clean, however one set of bathroom amenities for three people? That makes no sense especially with how hard it is to get anything out of those bottles. I did like the quality of the bathroom amenities. The hotel felt safe, has a nice playground, nice pool, grills outside and is close to the outlets and everything else. The girl with dark curly hair with a nose ring and some tattoos that checked her in was not saying good morning to us after the initial issue as if we did something wrong which was plain rude. The lady at breakfast was great. The breakfast was great as well. The housekeeper threw away my receipts when she serviced my room which were neatly stacked next to my things. If it’s not in the trash don’t throw things out! After getting home I realized that not only did the Housekeeper throw out receipts but I had a few ID cards and licenses for my business on a neat pile with the receipts because they made my wallet bulky and I didn’t need them while enjoying Lake George. I called the morning after check out and spoke to the same blonde manager that checked me in and she didn’t care at all I hardly got an apology. I called back and she basically said the HSKP doesn’t recall throwing away the receipts. Well she did and my licenses with them. I am devastated I called back to ask when was the trash picked up and by what company. She told me “this is not usually how things work”, but got me the names of the company that did the pick up allegedly on Sunday. I called the transfer station where the trash would have been dropped, but so far no response. To be honest the lady at the trash pick up company was more compassionate and concerned than the manager was. Tell your housekeepers not to touch the belongings of your guests if I wanted to throw out the receipts or the licenses I would have thrown them out myself or if I wasn’t raised well I would have thrown them on the floor next to the trash. Wanted to take a shower before getting on the 4.5 hour to get home, but the bath amenities never came. This was absolutely the worse experience. I have worked at multiple properties at the front desk in the hospitality industry and this is unheard of the way myself and my friend were treated. Stay away!

This was our second year vacationing in the area for labor day. The location was great and I loved how the outlets was so close. My only complaint is how much chlorine is in the pool area. You can't stay too long and enjoy yourself because of how heavy the smell is. The game room was ok but a few games did not work. The kids enjoyed the playground and basketball court. The free breakfast is always a plus when you have a family. Great hotel overall. I will book again.

Conveniently located, right off route 87, and near all the attractions in beautiful Lake George. This hotel delivered everything we needed. The staff is helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and appears well-maintained. Our room had a comfortable bed and was very clean. The room had all the amenities we needed ( TV, clean bathroom, refrigerator, alarm clock, plenty of towels, etc.) We were traveling with our dog and chose this place specifically because it is dog friendly, that was huge for us. They offer breakfast starting at 6:30. There is an indoor pool, although we didn't use it, it appeared ideal for children ( had a waterslide). There is a patio area adjacent to the pool that has some tables and a couple charcoal grills. There's plenty of parking here. We stayed on the fourth floor and the elevator is quick. I can't think of any reason why we wouldn't stay here again. Recommend.

First time in this place. Location is so convenient to every where we are going. Quick check in staffs are all very nice welcoming. Room is spacious than we expected, and it’s very quiet and comfortable. Took a small hot breakfast, a little crowded but they replaced everything very fast… One of my favorite places definitely will back soon!

Very nice,the night front desk could be more personable/friendly( let's say they didn't think I could afford the room and were hoping my card declined) but anyway, the hotel was a Comfort Suites loved it stayed many times. First time staying here and it is just as good if not better. The outdoor areas thumbs up. A screened gazebo, several grills, tables and chairs. Child's playground is huge. Pet friendly. Breakfast was good standard, coffee all day in the lobby. A lot of motorcycles and the hotel let them park under the entrance (rained on and off). Hotel is very quiet, you can't really hear anything. I would have liked bigger towels and floor mats (hot tub room) or just a few more. Over all one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Recommend and will stay again.

So I updated my review. Overall it’s a pretty nice hotel. Kid friendly. The water slide in the pool area is very cool. It puts it a step above the other hotels in the area. The pool area in general is pretty nice. The first day we arrived the “hot tub” was almost the same temperature as the pool. It’s supposed to be hot. And as a tired mom with 2 crazy kids the hot tub is what I look forward to the most. So it’s a huge disappointment when my bath water for my kids is warmer than the “hot” tub. If hotels aren’t going to keep it hot then it shouldn’t be advertised as a hot tub. Especially when I pay $338 per night. It should be hot. The second night we were there the hot tub was pretty hot. So that was exciting 😂 And why I updated to 4 stars. The guy at the front desk is super nice. The rooms are nice. We book a hotel almost solely based on their hot tub and pool area. If the rooms are nice and their pool area is cool it’s a go!

We were looking for a pet friendly resort near Lake George and chose this hotel. The property is newly renovated and immaculately clean. We were staying with our kids and yellow lab and the outdoor space was perfect for both. There is a large playground in the back with grills and seating. We were staying on the 2nd floor which was perfect for late night dog walks in the well-lit back lawn area. There is an indoor pool with waterslide which we did not have a chance to use, but I'm sure we will stay again. Breakfast was great, the staff was friendly, it's right near the outlets and a quick drive to Lake George Village and beaches. Definitely recommend.

I was shocked that we paid so relatively little for this stay. I'm sad that we only did one night. The room was spacious and very clean with a fridge and microwave - harder to find these days. The playground is HUGE (and there's a playground?!?!) and well- maintained which was perfect for my kiddos. The pool was a great size with mild temperature water which was perfect for me :) the kids loved it too. Who's ever heard of a hotel with a waterslide (that's not one of those water park resorts)? The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great.I love love loved this hotel!!
