Room smelled like pure wet dog. Breakfast was as frozen egg omelettes with peppers in them and sausage patties. My child cannot eat peppers so I asked if we could get scrambled eggs and was told the pepper eggs was the menu. When I first arrived, I waited a good 5 minutes to even see a hotel employee so that we could check in. I couldn’t sleep because of the God awful smell. Please find a different hotel to spend $130 at because this one is absolutely not worth it.

I have stayed at this La Quinta at least four times in the last six months, and each time I’ve stayed has been clean quiet and hassle-free. I travel with my dogs, which can some times complicate things—but Ive never had trouble here. Easy to find, close to the road, and CLEAN. We will be back on our return south.

I love staying at the La Quinta in Kingsland, Georgia. The front desk staff is always so kind and helpful. This time it was Grace who was such a warm face greeting me after a long day of driving. The hotel property is older, so it’s not pristine. However, it’s kept very clean. The hotel has a lovely pool and hot tub nestled under towering Georgia pines. It’s so fantastic to relax in the hot tub as the sun sets and recuperate from a long day of traveling. This hotel is especially wonderful for people who travel with their fur babies. Most of the beds have platforms so your pet can’t disappear under the bed. Their pet fee is very reasonable too! I give this hotel two enthusiastic thumbs up, and always look forward to staying here on my regular trips up north. Thank you to the excellent staff! See you again in a few months. 💛

This hotel had good reviews, but our experience there was very poor and I would not recommend staying there. At check-in, we were given someone else's room with their name on the receipt and charged the incorrect amount. When we discovered this, the woman at the front desk seemed totally unconcerned and took a long time to put us in a different room. In that room, the A/C was permanently set at 64 degrees and the toilet ran loudly all night. There was a dirty Keurig cup in the machine so it obviously had not been cleaned. We politely expressed our concerns at check-out. This time the woman at the front desk was very nice and caring, but said she needed her manager to address our complaints. She said she would write up a report and her manager would get back to us. We requested that our $50 pet fee be refunded as compensation. It has now been a week since our stay and we have not been contacted by the manager. This was an unpleasant experience overall at a time when we really needed to minimize stress (moving to a new state). This hotel needs to do better.

Terrible smell throughout the hotel: front desk area, hallways, rooms. They are doing construction there, but that will not eliminate the odor, which smells like animal urine. They will need to paint the entire hotel (every room), rip up & replace every carpet, and potentially replace any wood flooring that might have soaked up the source of the odor, and buff every tile. But even then it might linger. Go there before giving any money. Walk in, then walk out if the smell is still there.

Waited for 15 minutes to check in because no one was at the front desk. Body wash container was empty in the shower. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but it has been a few years since our last visit. The hotel has not been maintained well. The refused the first room we were given because it was extremely hot and had a musty smell upon arrival. We accepted the second room, but the bathroom had a cracked sink, defects in the wall and a shower curtain that had an odor. We also noticed that inspection sticker in the elevator had expired over a year before our stay! The staff, breakfast and location were average. We won't be back.

Clean, really comfortable beds, great price, and the management are top notch. Possibly the nicest owners/ management I have ever met on the road ( I do Arts and Crafts Festivals as a woodworker for a living). The owners made my wife and I feel very welcome, and the room is spotless. Great parking, too. Highly recommend staying here. There is a phenomenal family diner right down the road, too, Steffens, that has wonderful cooking.
