La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kerrville - Hotel in Kerrville - 1940 Sidney Baker St, USA

Noise and dogs. Can hear noises from adjacent rooms and hall. The room itself is very nice, well equipped. I have to give lower rating. Toilet fill mechanisms made loud squealing noise in our room and adjacent room. Also made noise frequently during the night, indicating that the flush valve was leaking. There were at least 2 dogs in adjacent room 218, possibly 3, barking at times. I would not want to stay in a room which had held pets so I hope the hotel uses specific rooms and extra cleaning on those used.

Positive: Location and proximity to downtown and freeway access. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Lighting good overall. Negative: The rooms were not as clean as they could have been. Accommodations were worn. Surfaces worn. Bed mattress was too soft. Grill on the air condition unit was torn off. The evap coil was affected by condensation. Had corrosion.

Pretty nice place. Nothing to really complain about except needs some paint and old finish is pretty poor along the edges. Beds weren't too uncomfortable. Just not used to old squeaky spring mattresses. I would stay there again.

We had a little getaway in the suites here and it was just what I needed. The bed is probably one of the most, if not the most, comfortable beds I've ever slept in staying away from home. I was impressed with the toiletries provided and our room was huge! Plenty of space to be comfy and cozy. Felt like home away from home. Definitely looking into our next trip here soon.

We made last minute plans and the La Quinta got us a room. Room was clean. Needs hand soap . However , other guests on our floor began using marijuana not long after our arrival. Desk clerk unable to identify . Seemed to be a party up and down the second floor. The sheriff dept came the next day and spent 2 hours on site , but a guy was watching and as soon as they left , blaze on. The smell was coming into our “nonsmoking “ room. We checked out a day early .

My family loves LaQuinta; this is the worst we’ve ever stayed in. I don’t mind at all a hotel being old, however I do mind filthiness. I had to put new sheets on the bed because there was hair all in them when we pulled the sheets back.||There was hair all in the tub. And it looks like there may have been mold growing on the side of the tub between the rubber sealer and tub.||The comforters are so old you can see through them and any stuffing left is clumped up in corners of the blanket.||The fridge did not work.|We paid $142 for this 1 nights stay.|The lady that checked us in was very kind.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice people, clean accommodations. We stayed in the king suite and were pleasantly surprised. Very large living room, bedroom and bathroom. Loved the warmed, inside pool and hot tub. ||Would definitely stay there again.

This visit started out great, but went downhill rapidly in the morning. Went down for breakfast and was informed quite rudely they were out of milk, potatoes, bacon, bagels and waffles. I asked if they were going to make more and I was told, and I quote, "N.O. No" so I guess the guy felt he had to spell out No for me. Not sure the last time I was treated that rudely in a hotel. Great location, wonderful desk staff, but I just will not abide being treated like that first thing in the morning. Updating my review to one of my very few 1-Star reviews --- After informing the front desk of what had happened, and they were great, very polite about the situation, the "N.O. No" gentleman walked out front to watch us leave and just smiled while waving. While he was clearly not truly being friendly, it would have been nice for him to put forth an effort to help earlier.
