La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gallup - Featured Reviews (1314)
Our stay was pleasant for our one night pass through to rest and shower. The room was a bit small but not an issue since it was a for only one night. The breakfast was a solid 3 stars since it's the norm food selection. The comfy beds was a nice surprise. Overall I think it was a nice hotel for price and amenities.
Well lit property on the outside. Clean rooms. Cooked eggs is a nice bonus for breakfast. Denny's and Dickeys BBQ right next to it for quick meals. As with all hotels along i40, one side faces highway, other side faces train tracks. Rooms are pretty well noise isolated, but train traffic is noticeable. Run AC fan as an improvised white noise machine. Would definitely stay again in future.
This is the nicest La Quinta hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything in the room was absolutely beautiful and high-end. Every amenity imaginable was available in the bathroom and very luxurious.
They have an amazing pet relief area that’s fenced in so that you can let your dog off leash to enjoy a little bit of a walk!
The pet area was very clean and well stocked with waste bags and also has a picnic table so that you can sit and enjoy your time with your pet!
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you ever need to pass through Gallup, New Mexico!
Spotless rooms, quiet nights sleep, in the middle of the desert. We were on a road trip from NY to Phoenix and we were so glad we did. Our room was clean and cozy nice big TV. The receptionist helped us find a place to eat and enjoy our rainy evening. We woke up to the most beautiful views. ||Breakfast was wonderful!
Our family is big enough we don't fit in one room, and we loved getting adjoining rooms with a door in between. Game changer! Our toddler and preschooler loved watching the trains go by right below our windows. (My wife did not love hearing them all night.) Clean rooms, friendly staff, good hot breakfast with waffles. A great place to stop! Thank you. (:
Another note: We have no pets, but at least half the other guests had dogs. Must be very pet friendly.
We have stayed at this location twice before when visiting in the area. Always a great experience except for this last time. At check-in the front desk attendant was friendly and quick. We went up to our room and was immediately greeted with an unpleasant odor. We went back downstairs and I asked if there was another room we could be switched with and her response was “Yeah, why?” I said there’s an unpleasant smell in that room. She typed away as I conversed with my husband. When I looked back she had our new key waiting for me to take from her hand. No “here you go” or “you’re all set”. nothing.
We checked in at 3:30pm so I didn’t think a simple switch would be a problem. Other than that the new room was beautiful and very clean. Outstanding job by housekeeping.
Great place to stay. Clean rooms with fridge and microwave. Free complete breakfast with eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, coffee with syrups, drinks and snacks available for purchase, cameras watching the parking lot. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. No complaints.
This location had a very nice fenced area for pets. Like a mini dog park. With a picnic table so you could sit and let your dogs run around. A waste station with bags and trash can.

I do not usually share my review, online. We made a 1 night stop in Gallup, during our family trip. So glad we found and chose this hotel, the room was well stocked and clean. The staff are all kind and helpful. The breakfast host Teresa was a bonus;
Last minute booking for a business trip. Brand new hotel with great accommodations. Room was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was great, which saves you both time and money when youâre running late in the morning. Only downside is that it is a b
What a wonderful experience and to see how this hotel is blessing so many by working with project search is so special. The breakfast staff was simply wonderful and so full of kindness and joy. Even when it got really busy they never lost their smile
I wasn't expecting to have Middle Eastern food for dinner this evening, but when I asked Yelp for restaurants that were open and inexpensive, this place was at the top of the list and it's near where I want to be. Easy.
Warmly greeted and seated, I
We enjoy the new Lost Raiders here in a very nicely done old theater. We were only ones there and sat in the perfect spot. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean. We park right out front also. The seat are the most comfortable I have sat
Excellent products, they have a lot of organic and out of town products. Recently (posted January 2023) they upgraded their refrigerators and produce aisle. It looks awesome! It's always a pleasure to go here and they take EBT(SNAP) also.
Absolutely amazing sandwiches, 2nd time here and they are consistent with the food and quality ingredients. And being open 24hrs was amazing! Also 2nd time trying the donuts and I'd have to say to pass on these, stick to the sandwiches. The staff are
Front of house was spotless! The people here take pride in their space. All 3 serving staff visited our table and were friendly. Great team and great service. Biscuits and gravy were fantastic, as was coffee.
