La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft. Lauderdale Airport - Hotel in Hollywood - 2620 N 26th Ave, USA

We only stayed one night before our cruise and because the price was somewhat less outrageous than its competitors I choose La Quinta. I regret it though. The place is very old and in bad condition. Just go to the puny gym and you will understand. The free shuttle service from the airport was also a big mess. We waited one hour and the couple next to us even longer. I did not feel the place was that clean which made the discomfort worse. I think next time I will pay more for a higher quality product. The staff was very nice though, trying to do the best job they can.

Very nice and comfortable hotel near the airport and interstate. Check in was great the people are really nice and attentive. The hotel is kind of dated but the location makes up for it. The bathrooms have shutter style doors that don't lock and there's no exhaust fan. The first two mornings the waffle iron wasn't operational and the eggs tasted watery. You can't go wrong with the fruit, bagels and yogurt. There's a lot of ducks, lizard's and cranes on the lake behind. I didn't get a chance to take the shuttle to the airport but was informed of the schedule upon checking out. I also like the fact that the hotel is off of a pull off road that only serves the two hotels.

The hotel is a bit dated but the room (king) was very spacious and the bed was comfy. The shower worked well.|The breakfast was good.|The shuttle services are not great:|1. Complimentary from airport 》 hotel was approx 1.5hr wait after 2 phone calls!|2. We paid $15usd for a shuttle to cruise terminal and it was late by approx 40 mins from our scheduled time|

The place is typical of La Quintas everywhere. Clean rooms, fully supplied with all essential toiletries and clean linens, average room sizes, and everything you need for any given personal or business trip This particular establishment also had an average breakfast offered reach morning which is nice. But it is off the beaten path and somewhat difficult to find Also, there isn't anything you can really walk to... Everything requires transportation. Nevertheless, 7-11 is about a quarter mile and Dave & Buster's is one or three blocks off. Situated on a lakefront the place is quiet and well suited for business or personal travel. The staff are what makes this place stand out. They will go above and beyond for the guest, which is rare around these parts. No bar, which cost then a single ⭐. Otherwise, top quality all around.

Stayed a couple of nights here to see a nearby concert. Other than housekeeping, they are clearly understaffed. We had to return to check-in as there was a line of about 15 customers waiting at 2:30 with no desk clerk to be found. Breakfast was an unmitigated disaster. They ran out of everything and there was not an employee to be seen who was working on this, so we never did get a chance to eat. For the ridiculous rate of $300 (includes their new extra fee, for god only knows what) I would at least like to get a light breakfast. Nope. The grounds are maintained ok on the outside, but common areas inside need a remodel. The room was fine but this was not a $300 room for sure. So no managers to be seen, a scarcity of employees, and service lacking in all regards. If this was a typical La Quinta rate I would say ok, they were busy. But they are putting a premium price on a C-grade hotel. The positives are that it's close to the highway and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. It was a huge disappointment.

Called a couple days ahead of time, to say we're going to be late checking in. To please add a note to our reservation. Showed up at 2am, with my very tired 10 year old. "We have no rooms available, we had to cancel your reservation" no call to see where we are at, No courtesy, no apologies, no nothing. Had to scramble to find something for the night. Very hard to do at 2am. So after paying for a lyft to this hotel, had to turn around and pay for another lyft. Simply put it, find a different hotel. Don't waste your money here.

It was late when I checked in after finding this hotel for an expensive price for a few hours. It was 130a when I checked in with a check out time of 12p the same day for $135. SMH. The young lady there whose from the Bahamas was super kind and accommodating, if it wasn’t for her, this review would a 1 star. I am very afraid of elevators, theirs is super small. I was looking for the stairs but they were locked. She rode the elevator with me and kept me calm as she could. I really appreciate that because people do not understand the fear of being closed in. On to the room….. Well, my room was on the far east side of the hotel. As I was unlocking the door, you could visually see the door needed to be fixed, it’s as if someone broke into the room or something. When I entered the room, the door looked as if it was not closed/locked and I was able to see the outside hall through the space between the wall and the door. First look at the inside, the smell hit me in the head. It smelled wet and mildewed and old at the same time. The couch was old, I almost didn’t want to sit p. I didn’t want to put my luggage in the carpet, I didn’t really want to breathe. The TV’s worked good. The bed was ok, I was really scared because of what I saw and smelled before I got to the room. The bathroom sink water did not drain properly. The tub was ok but the water was hot. All in all, this hotel is outdated, it smells, and for the price we all need to boycott. I remember when this hotel was built, it was after Hurricane Andrew, that plaza (Oakwood) was built after that as well. I grew up in that area so I am very disappointed in all of the hotels in that area aside from the very new ones on Sterling Rd. I am sure I won’t stay here again!

We stayed here for one night and it was great. The location of the hotel is very close to where I needed to go and before I arrived I thought it would be so busy but the hotel is located at a quiet street and it was easy to drive in and out. Service was great, check in was fast and helpful. Room is clean, bigger than normal and it was quiet too. The view was great despite the weather was nasty. Overall it was a great experience.
