La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Flagstaff East I-40 - Hotel in Flagstaff - 1000 N BRONCO Wy, USA

Obviously, the location is great and the modern building is beautiful (much better than the old location that was long ago razed). The biggest downside was that our room just wasn't up to par. We brought our dog, and as soon as she entered, her nose went right to the bed box spring, where another dog had clearly left his mark. When I went to shower, the shower head was not fully functional, the water never got hot, and the faucet didn't work either. We alerted the hotel staff, who told us that maintenance would arrive shortly. As a result, I waited in the room, but no one ever arrived--not once over two days. The breakfast was ok (would have preferred grab-and-go options like hard-boiled eggs since the breakfast was PACKED with families), but the all-day beverage options were very nice. Would have liked to have checked out the pool and fitness centers, which were on the first floor, but I was stuck waiting for maintenance that never arrived.

Positive: Check in staff was nice. After 11pm staff was well more focus on there personal lap top. Over all os was quiet for being full. Negative: Parking. They have no parking for people in big vehicles or with trailers. So they park across ten spots to park. It left parking way out where there no lights. It made me not feel safe parking and walking that far in the dark as a woman.

Normally I am a fan of this hotel and have stayed here a few times. However, on this current trip, there is clearly a disconnect and misunderstanding by SEVERAL of the employees about the TV. I cannot access half of the channels because someone placed a parental control on anything above Pg-13. I have explained this to 3 different employees and they keep telling me that we just don't get those channels. While I very clearly explained to them that 1- I have stayed here before and gotten these channels and 2- I was literally watching a channel, but once the movie changed and went to a another movie, it asked for the pin for the parental control, clearing meaning that its not the channels they do not get, but that a former client placed a parental block on the TV's, no one seems to understand. They have continually asked me to change rooms, which I have declined because I do not want to go through the hassle of re-packing and moving. |To top it off, this is now the 2nd time I have stayed here, that my key cards stop working on my second day here. |I come here for work and stay for 5 days and I have liked this hotel for the room layout and the proximity to my workspace here in town, but this might have been the thing to stop me from booking here again. I do not understand how NO ONE can understand what the problem is or fix it, instead just telling me to switch rooms. I have had TV issues in other hotels, who literally came in and replaced the entire TV to solve the problem, while this hotel can't even be bothered to listen to me properly to understand the issue.

Positive: Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Area around the hotel was clean. Walked my doggies on the sidewalks easily. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Negative: Didn't like that the bathroom door opened by itself unless closed all the way. But this is really just nit-picking. The room was very nice.

My husband and I did a road trip from California to Kansas and stayed here on our way home. We brought our cat Squirrel so we needed a pet friendly hotel and our stay was wonderful. We didn’t get in til 3am, but the service we received was amazing. I’m genuinely surprised at how nice this hotel was for a pet friendly one. Normally there are smells and sounds, thin walls, things like that. It was a great stay! Towels were soft, the room was nice and clean, the pillows were super floofy and cozy with the bed. I know people might laugh but the little mini dove bar soap and shampoo and conditioner were so CUTE! (I’m weird lol) The only gripe I had is the angle of the bathroom door made it weird to roll in the suitcase cart. That’s it! Otherwise great stay!

No soap in hotel! Had to go shopping for soap. Jacuzzi out of service. Phones didn't work. Room was way over perfumed. Don't want to know why! Real third world stay! They are usually pretty nice.

Everything was great. Rooms, service, location, free breakfast available. The cleaning personnel were friendly and helpful. The only thing I will point out is the bleach/chemicals in the jacuzzi. They were so strong you could not stand to be in there because your eyes would burn. Other than that, everything was great, really clean and safe. One of the cleaning ladies even organized my makeup stuff and placed a clean face towel under them. That was really nice of her. Thank you 💞🙏

Nice hotel, bathroom were small, pool was nice, breakfast was plentiful. The only complaint would be that we booked a large room with a pull out sofa. Upon checking in, we were told they had nothing available and tried to place us in a smaller room. Management said sorry you booked on a 3rd party site. If they are not willing to honor booking on a 3rd party site, then they should not pattern with 3rd party sites to sell off their rooms. After asking if we needed to call Expedia to resolve the issue, management suddenly had a large room available for us.
