La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ely - Hotel in Ely - 1591 Great Basin Blvd, USA

Stay was great! The hotel is in an awesome location. Walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop, gas stations, and food. They Hotel even has an apple tree in front, picked a few of those 😅 The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping and front desk were super friendly! Breakfast was good 👍 can't really complain when it's free food. Got a little busy in the morning, but there were options to sit outside and inside. We will be back for our next Great Basin National Park Visit.

Got the family suite with two bedrooms. Beds were comfortable, internet was fast, pool was warm and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was about 4 minute drive to downtown and Northern Nevada Railroad.

This property is tired and not well constructed. Noise from people walking normally in the room above you sounds thunderous. The beds have deep divots from overuse and not being replaced on a normal schedule. Stains and poorly maintained furniture abound. Towels are stained. Minimal updates (if any) have been completed since being built long ago. The smell of smoke will choke you in some parts of the hotel despite being 100% smoke free. Do yourself a favor and stay at a nicer place.

Had to go through for a quick unexpected trip from Utah to Northern California. Stopped and found they had a king suite available. Was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, well stocked, had a fridge for babys milk, travel drinks, chocolate snacks etc. Bed was very comfortable. Enough towels. Clean. Ac worked. Came back through on our way home and stayed in a double queen. No complaints. Free breakfast until 10am and that was well stocked and cleaned frequently. Will stay again.

I'm going to say that the rooms were clean and nice looking with updated TV, plenty of plug-ins, but the mattress was uncomfortable. I tossed and turned all night. Woke up feeling exhausted. Curtains don't darken the room. Some shredded pieces. Maybe I'm in a room that needs updating?

We have stayed here many times, we love it. We also have two dogs and they are welcomed too. We have stayed at several of the hotels in town and this is the best one. Never had any problems with the check in process or check out.

Breakfast was great. Wide variety of choices and tasty, too. Such a nice stay for people with dogs. Surprisingly clean all that considered. Exceptionally nice staff.

Perfect stay for a quick stopover in Ely. Front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. We stayed in 311. Room looked towards hills, rather than the other side which was probably looking at the grocery store and parking lot.our room had two queen beds. Sheets soft, pillows great in my opinion. Plenty of towels. Water pressure in shower was great. Toiletries were Dove brand. Stash Tea and coffee available in room. Black out curtains did the trick. We used the small fitness room. Not fantastic but I didn’t expect it to be so. We never used the pool. I did see there were laundry facilities there. Breakfast part of room rate. The typical: eggs, cereal, yogurt, variety of breads, oatmeal, juice, coffee. We were happy. I’d stay again. Thanks La Quinta staff in Ely!
