La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Duluth - Hotel in Duluth - 1805 Maple Grove Rd, USA

Room fairly clean when arrived. Some hair in the shower but other than that way better than most places I would say 9 out of 10 cleanliness. Hot tube was out of order not sure when it will be replaced. Well furnished work out facility. Breakfast was great. Better than expected. Front desk extremely helpful and polite. I would recommend people to stay here.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The price was pretty decent considering the size of the room. The breakfast was better than we were expecting. You hear hot breakfast, and you think you're getting eggs and maybe sausage, but the breakfast potatoes and waffles were great. The staff was very friendly, especially the cook who kept encouraging us to eat the breakfast and he'd sing along to the music they were playing in the kitchen, which was family friendly. Definitely going to stay here again the next time we take a vacation in Duluth.

Extremely pleasant experience. The hotel was nice, very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a short drive from downtown Duluth and there were plenty of restaurants close by. The outdoor fire table was nice to sit by in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

Overall a decent experience with a double queen accessible room for one night. The room was clean, with a decent amount of space. I do think a pet had stayed recently because there was an odor of urine or cleanser coming from somewhere.|We requested accessible or first floor. We received third floor accessible. The elevators were located towards one end of the hotel and the third floor accessible room was the very last room on the other end (14 rooms from the elevator). Makes for a very long walk when one has mobility issues. It was across from the stairs, for safety reasons, I guess. If all floors have accessible rooms in the same area, first floor would be much easier as there was an access door on that end. Probably should have put first floor as the main request. |Lots of families and pets as usual with LQ, but we didn't even notice any noise. |Staff was pleasant and attentive.

Very clean and very quiet .. away from the tourist part of the lake. Breakfast was Very good and fresh.. a lot of assortment.|The staff is very friendly and accommodating.|Hot tub was not working. 😥. Google maps gave terrible route. Drive straight through town and let it do a reroute.

My friend and I stayed on Aug. 24 as a stopover for a "bucket list" fishing trip. We asked for a room in a quiet area as we were heading out just after breakfast. Three times we called the desk about children and stomping feet above us and the staff was not able to stop the problem or offer a solution. No sleep.|We went to lobby for breakfast to find out the breakfast person did not show up and the desk clerk could not do her job and that of the other employee so we got nothing. I complained to clerk who stated at first she could give no discount for horrible stay, but then said she could give $42 on a $250+ night's stay. She was not able to get the system to work, so I received not receipt for our stay.|When I got home and checked my credit card bill, no discount was issued. I will be disputing this with Laquinta for having to pay anything let only a $42 discount.|If you want to pay $250 for one night's stay and not get any sleep or the breakfast you paid for, this is the place for you!

Stay was pretty good. Breakfast was amazing for what they offered. Pool and hot tub was fun to use. Only issue we had was with our fridge, we didn't even notice the fridge not working properly but the food we had bought for the rest of the week all went bad, 65 dollars of food waste. Our fridge did not have a dial, so we couldn't even turn up the temperature. That was not fun.

We loved this hotel! Very comfy beds, great shower. Was clean. Breakfast was good. Kids loved the pool. Great location, just a quick drive to Aldi and Target, so us Canadians could stock up on our favourite things we can't get at home. We would definitely stay here again!
