Check in was fast the staff was nice. On the other hand the breakfast bar was less then desirable. I attempted to try a biscuit and jam but the biscuits were rock hard. So I enjoyed a small bowl of cereal instead. The room was nicely decorated but the bed was very uncomfortable. The shower was awesome! I wanted to take a swim in the provided pool but it was cloudy and decided it was in my best interest not to. Great location for shopping! For the money that was spent I was a little disappointed. Hopefully this review will encourage the owners to address the above issues and make improvements for future travelers.

During my recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Dothan, I had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the warm welcome and helpful assistance from the staff. Manager Mike deserves special recognition for his outstanding service throughout my stay. He was not only professional and knowledgeable but also went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my visit exceeded expectations. From accommodating a special request to providing valuable local recommendations, Manager Mike's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly commendable. The appearance of the hotel was immaculate, with well-maintained facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. My room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the full breakfast offered at the hotel. There was a great variety of delicious options, and the dining area was well-kept and inviting. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Dothan. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a friendly atmosphere made my visit memorable. Room should have never been available until fully cleaned. Floor was so sticky and wasn’t clean in sleep area and bathroom. Had a musty smell. Was offered to switch but I was already unpacked and two tired to move. Good thing I was only staying one night! Breakfast was good with plenty of seating but didn’t see any fresh fruit available. Prefer to use paper products instead of styrofoam especially when having a cup of hot coffee. Would not stay here again.

Clean, safe, comfy, quiet. Friendly staff. Great location to restaurants and shopping. The ONLY drawback was road construction. That however was no fault to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this to others. And they are very pet friendly!

Our room was pretty clean. small unusable chair in the corner and toilet seat not secure. I was surprised at how much carpet is in a pet hotel. The smell from the disinfectant is a liitle sickening. The hallway carpet was very dirty, I realize hotels get a lot of traffic, but a better cleaning schedule may help. The breakfast was not bad, but no one wiped off any tables, we ate at a dirty one , not pleasant. But we slept well. and our bathroom was clean, except the mirror. it was obviously was wiped down with wet dirty rag. Makes you wonder how clean everything is, that is pretty lazy.

I stayed one night here with my dog. I found everything clean during my stay- the dining area, the room, and pool. Everyone was nice and I never waited long for assistance. Housekeeping and maintenance are personable as well. I really appreciated that I could bring my dog for an additional fee that was cheaper than one night of boarding! This location is close to some shopping and Publix. The breakfast was a spread! It’s popular in the mornings so be patient. There’s a really cute outdoor dining area with stringed lights and a grill. If I need to stay in Dothan again, I won’t hesitate to stay here.

The rooms were very clean, looks newly remodeled and they did a great job. The full breakfast good, loved the added potato's & veggies as an option. Will definitely stay again when traveling thru Dothan. Oh, another friend recommended them as well, and their prices were certainly good.

I stayed here for work recently and the man at the front desk when I checked in was not pleasant. His attitude was more like blah. I was in Dothan for the first time for work. I was asking him for food suggestions for local food not fast food like McDonald’s. He said Chili’s and Panera bread. He wasn’t any help. The pool was dirty and not for use during my stay. There are no signs to tell you if there is a fitness center. They have these gray signs in the elevator to say what floor has laundry, business center etc. but nothing about a fitness center. They do have one because I asked and I went in there and it was clean and pretty decent. The reason why I gave the room 4 stars was because it was clean, however there was a piece of long hair on the cover but that was it. The bathroom was decent , the tubs could use some attention. There was also water on the carpet next to the air conditioner unit. Which I believe was the reason the carpet stunk a little. When I checked out there was another gentleman at the desk and he was very nice. I’m not sure if I would stay here again there is a lot of construction going on. I’ve stayed in quite a few Laquinta’s in my life and I can say this one is one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed at.
