The room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was very minimal and one small thing like international flavored creamer for coffee goes along way for better reviews, the coffee machine in the breakfast area was horrible, just throw that thing out!! Fresh coffee by the front desk was better but not good. 1st night there was a domestic fight in the room across from us at 1:30am. Nobody’s fault but those two. Everything was good just not great this time.

While the staff were absolutely lovely, the room was not at all to the point I check out after two hours of being there. Walking in there was a heavy musty smell that was attempted to be masked with some form of air freshener- the room while at first glance looked fine, upon looking around we noticed the fridge didn’t work, one of the comforters were stained in multiple places, exposed flooring of whatever was keeping the AC unit off the ground with the wire literally sticking out the bottom edge, there was a pipe besides the sink that was exposed that was covered in human hair which was not mine, the seal between the door to get into the room and its frame was hanging on by a thread and was on the verge of falling off, the shower looked disgusting with lime around the edges and all over the drain plug, chips in the wood of the furniture, heck even the window was a time! Clearly hadn’t been cleaned well either from the thick amount of dust on the edge at the bottom of the mini fridge. I will not be staying here again.

Believe the one-star reviews – this ranks with the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We had to overnight here when United delayed our flight until morning and ALL the hotels in the airport area were full. Picked the hotel out of desperation, not choice, but when we got back to the airport very early the next morning I almost envied the people who stayed and slept across the seats.||We checked in after 10:00 PM and knew we'd only have a few hours sleep before we had to leave at 4:30 AM to catch our flight. Walking into the front door we were struck with how old and out of date the lobby appeared; fine, we just wanted some sleep. That impression only worsened as we made our way to the room: the elevator seemed on it's last legs and hinted at failure as it rattled it's way to the fourth floor, the hallway carpets were frightening, and the room door didn't seem to quite fit in it's frame.||The bed and linens seemed clean and after a very long day were inviting, and the room itself seemed clean if not well kept. I wouldn't sit in the chair. It had stains in the cushion that suggested a worst case scenario. The shower worked, although that's a pretty low bar.||The manager when we checked in was nice enough, but there was not a bottle of water to be had in the entire hotel. (He told us the tap water tastes great.) He did provide us with some complimentary hotel toothbrushes and packets of toothpaste. Again, a pretty low bar. The morning manager seemed pleasant as well.||My general impression was that I wanted to flee this place as early in the morning as I could. That's exactly what we did as we climbed into an Uber at not-quite-morning yet.

The rooms were fine. The water in the shower was lukewarm. The lounges around the pool are all torn up and impossible to sit or lay on. The elevator buttons didn’t work leaving you stuck on the elevator trying to get up to your floor or stuck, waiting for an elevator trying to get down. It is incredibly loud as it sits quite close to US 225. When we got off the elevator to go to our room, the hallway reeked of originally cigarettes smoke, and then the next day marijuana smell. We notified the front desk, but I’m not sure anything was ever done about it on a positive note, the breakfast was good. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage waffles the usual La Quinta fair. The lobby is nice.

Pros: - The beds were comfortable - Staff was nice and attentive - Breakfast has hot eggs and sausage Cons: - Some questionable people wander into and stay at this hotel. - The pool area’s chairs are all broken and the pool itself could use some upkeep. - Rooms need a lot of repair. - The elevators need service. They are loud and one can’t go to certain floors.

Substandard experience. Both my sister and I got Bed bug bites, dirty towels in elevator, no housekeeping first day-didn’t even empty trash, dust I could write my name in, Tv not working, pool deck loungers ALL broken/torn up,key didn’t work in door second night. But the breakfast, shower and bathroom were acceptable. Front desk personnel just ok.

Not a bad hotel, but was sketched out a little by the location. My room was fairly nice, but the fridge didn't feature a freezer. The free breakfast was ok, but the biscuits were nearly inedible they were so dry and hard. My one big complaint is that the chair in my room had a huge piss stain on it.

Johnathan was very helpful and accommodating. I checked in at almost 2am. More hotels need a guy like him. Made my long trip a little better. He wants as far as to track down mustard for my white castle burgers, lol. Highly recommend staying here.

The parking lot was a bit shady, but the place was amazing. Food comes in large portions -- they were really good but we could only finish half of what we ordered. The spicy soup was my favorite, but the curry was great too. Their service was top-not

1st time checking out Parkside Eatery & Taco Choi. Very tasty however I think it would improve the appearance and food if each taco had its own unique sauce and or toppings to give it more flair and flavor.
