La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas - Wylie - Featured Reviews (526)
So there’s nothing worse than your air conditioner going out on a Sunday night, in July, in Texas. Well maybe there are some things, but this is a pretty sucky situation. Add to it one wife recovering from surgery, and one elderly, diabetic dog and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. Last Sunday night, this was our household, but La Quinta in Wylie was there for us and our furry friends! We were able to get a king size accessible room at 10p on Sunday night for a very reasonable price, in a dog friendly room! The pet fee is reasonable, the room was spacious and clean for a pet friendly room. There were a few minor issues with the room such as the back of the remote control missing, the headboard was a bit worn, and the door to the room was open when we got there, but after that, the rest of the night was nice and cool, which was just what we were looking for. The breakfast in the morning had scrambled eggs and sausage links. There were grassy areas for our pets, and lots of pets on the premises. The staff was friendly and we were able to check out and return home to a working AC in the morning. This was our first stay at this La Quinta, but we will be back and will feel comfortable recommending to out of town guests in the future!
DO NOT go to this hotel!!!!! I bought two rooms from here earlier any month and have the receipts for them, but when I got there, they charged me for it again. I am still waiting to get my reimbursement and I still have not gotten my two sets of $175 ($350 total) back for having my rooms all clean. it has been a total mess going through this place. They would mess with my checking account showing where there was payments from early month and then there wasn’t and then it was doing on different days. It was a big mess so praise the Lord. I took pictures of them when I made the payments back earlier in the month. DO NOT go here or you will be screwed over! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
The young attendant upon check-in seemed completely checked out, and really struggled to communicate- whether from shyness or just youth, she needs more training in greeting and people skills. The entire first floor smelled of bleach, including the bed sheets- I worried a lot about inhaling the fumes, and I even have some kind of rash today. The headboards and anything made of fake leather was cracking and peeling, so the decor already looks worn and outdated. The sheets are pilling and very rough. It makes me sad when corporations cheat customers in order to save a few bucks. Shame, I can not recommend this property to friends and family when they visit.
The beds were horrible. Woke up every morning with a cramped back, this was two different rooms. Although we had no problems with checking in or out, we watched a couple arrive early in the morning after driving all night. The lady was pregnant and the clerk explained the hotel had sold their room to someone else. The clerk was not able to accommodate them due to the rooms being sold out. We watched the couple sit in the lobby most of the day. I don't know what good, is a reservation, if the hotel cannot honor it. The food was not good and gave us stomach aches. I traveled for work for some years and renovated hotels. I have traveled and found a lot cheaper hotels were more comfortable, more hospitable, and had better food. La Quinta usually is a good place to stay , but not this one in Wylie, TX.
If I were to rate the hotel rooms by them selves I would give a 5. The lower rate is because of the breakfast. The food was reheated and served again and again. The gravy was gray! The waffles were fresh because you make them yourself. Wish the batter was not vanilla flavored and just plain waffle batter. There was no fresh fruit, or any fruit for that matter. Staff was friendly.
We had a neighborhood-wide power outage so needed a room last minute. The assistant manager Dayanna was amazing and super responsive with us and other guests. She was very sympathetic in a time of stress and we will definitely recommend to friends and family!
I thought the room, was very nice.... We checked in with our pet, who is not a problem. After we checked in found leak under the sink. Shower was not clean, the remote to the tv didn't work, but after 3 new remotes, finally worked...The beds were so uncomfortable, we could not sleep. The breakfast was good... I have a real problem when you refer this to the desk and they say, we will send it to Maintenace. Not a pleasant stay.
I booked this hotel for personal and business reasons. Upon check in, I was made to wait in line about 15mins whilst the front desk attendant spoke to someone on the phone. She had another guest in front of me and instead of wrapping up the check in with the guest, she took every call and stayed for long periods on the phone. She could have simply placed the call on hold or request a call back, especially after realizing the calls were lengthy and guests were waiting in line to check in. Secondly, I was given key cards twice for other people's rooms. The third time I asked the front desk person to escort me to the third room in case it was occupied. That is a security risk. Lastly, be very aware, this hotel is rampant with bed bugs. I woke up the next day with lots of bites and itching. I would never stay here again. You shouldn't either. Don't let the price fool you.
Cool park that's close enough to both drop by for 15-20 min after daycare pickup and enjoy a weekend w/o burning 1/2 tank of gas. Kids love it, shade for us parents and I can bring my RC car to "multitask". Win win
Wylie has finally done it!! They've brought us a fine dining establishment with great food and excellent service!! The food was brought out in a timely fashion, and was amazing! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. As soon as yo
Let me just start off with the service there. All the employees were personable. Friendly. This was my first time there and I definitely will be coming back for the service alone. Top that off with an amazing drink. I had the German Chocolate Frost a
For the price you canât beat MOD. I love the taste, the fast service and the price. The Sriracha ranch is amazing to dip your crust into. The only bad news is they are build one closer to my house in Garland, so I probably wonât come to this loca
This morning 1/30/24 around 11:25am, I pulled up to order a drink and food. The young lady at the drive through took my card and ran it. I told her to put on a tip. She told me that she had already run it because she was trying to reduce run times. I
