We were there for some medical appointments at nearby Baylor. The reservation and check in processes were smooth; the room was comfortable; and the bathroom well- appointed. The breakfast was just ok, with overdone eggs and semi-stale rolls/bread. But: it was included in the room price (which we didn’t expect) so it’s difficult to complain about it. The main issue for us was that staff were not prepared for the cold snap that had descended on the Dallas metro area. Portions of the parking lot were a sheet of ice, and it was necessary to cross them on foot to visit the medical complex across the street (we didn’t rent a car). Both of us are elderly and we felt we were walking an obstacle course. Some sand or salt placed judiciously would have made the trek less dangerous. ||Inside the hotel lobby entry we experienced a more serious problem because there was no,way of anticipating it ahead of time. They had put down mats at the entry but the mats were curled up at the edges. My 79 year old companion (who uses a cane) tripped over them - his glasses were fogged up - and he fell flat on his face, nearly breaking his glasses and giving himself some serious facial bruises. The scrapes were deemed serious enough by the staff in the hospital that they applied some medication to them. The front desk clerk either saw what happened or heard us or someone else discussing it afterward, and by the time we returned from the hospital the second time, the mats were nowhere to be seen. ||I recognize that this is not an issue that is likely to pose problems for most people, but it was frightening for us. La Quinta management needs to pay more attention to these matters.
Very clean room and quick check in and check out experience. Housekeeping does a great job daily! Breakfast was great! The location is perfect. You can't beat it for the price!
The rooms were satisfisfactory and the staff was incredibly kind. I had to stay a couple nights with my dog due to repairs at my home. They were very kind to my dog and put me in a room close to an outside door to make it easier to take him out. The only major complaint I had were their key cards. They are very very sensitive and are prone to magnetizing easily. I stayed 2 nights and had to go to the front desk 3-5 times to get it fixed because it got within 3 inches of my phone. The overall experience regarding my stay was great, but it was a mild inconvenience. If I was in a similar situation again, I would stay here again.
We just finished staying here for six days while a family member was recovering from surgery at the Baylor Scott and White Plano Heart Hospital, which is an easy, short walk across the street.||The hotel was unusually clean and well maintained, the staff was cheerful and helpful, and the included breakfast was great. Really good coffee!||We were very happy we chose this hotel. It helped reduce the stress for the family during the hospital stay.
I was desperately looking forward to some quiet. It was not. First off there are several dogs, that bark quite a bit. Next off the neighbor decided to have wake up calls starting at 4:30 until 5... which is when their alarm would start going off with continuous 5 minute snoozer. The walls are so thing that you hear everything! Beds are more firm and pillows get rock hard after you lay on them. Only 1 lamp worked and my room phone did not work at all. Other than this.. the free breakfast is great and so is the location!
I called to make a reservation for my husband and his 93 year old father. Asked for a first floor ADA room. According to the man who I talked with said Guaranteed you will get a first floor room. Arrived and they gave them a second floor room all the way in the back of the building. There was a handicap chair in the bathtub, looked disgusting. My husband thought he could put a towel over it and let his 93 year old father take a shower. First off there was blood in the bathtub ( which also could have been washed away) but then he couldn’t even get the shower nozzle to work. It was too late for my husband to change rooms. They were tired after spending a long day at a local hospital with family. They just wanted to sleep. Always enjoyed staying at LaQuinta’s but this place was gross and disgusting!!! Don’t waste your money go next door!! 0 star review here They have it where you have to give a 1 star review to be able to post! 0 stars 0 stars
Very friendly staff, nice hotel, excellent hot breakfast options (waffles!)- We were given a room on the 4th floor near the far working elevator (elevator closest to lobby was not working). The room was very clean and well maintained, however it smelled as if it had previously been smoked in despite signage that the whole hotel was non-smoking. Everything else was fine, we will stay here again, I just hope we get a room that smells better.
Great place to stay. Still dog friendly. Breakfast included. Rock on La Quinta. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. In fact we are due to stay the weekend again in 2 weeks. My mom is coming to visit and she is getting a room here.

Absolutely wonderful, we have stayed at quite a few Hilton hotels with our gaggle of kids and the pup. By far the best one yet. Very clean and beautiful, and the breakfast from marisela was amazing- the best hotel breakfast we have encountered.
I want to first say this is by far the best hotel my family has stayed at. It's so cozy I literally feel at home and forgot that I'm 4 states away from home. The customer service is so genuine and very much appreciated. Joyce was friendly, welcoming
Great experience as usual. The pool was under construction, but the breakfast and all day coffee itâs just a must. Itâs always convenient when traveling with kids when you have a full kitchen and three times more room than a traditional hotel roo
Stayed in a 4 floor room. Easy check-in. We were both pleasantly greeted. Morning crew suggested the breakfast sandwich which was good. Room was ready and clean. We were on the east side of the hotel so we could hear the freeway traffic but it wasn't
